Overview

ProBuilder OS is residential construction management software that brings lead handling, estimating, project operations, scheduling, financial controls, team responsibilities and client communication into one platform. It is aimed at custom home builders, remodeling contractors, ADU and home-addition contractors, and other residential construction companies. Homeowners choosing paint or a coating for a renovation are not its primary audience; it is a business tool for the contractors planning and delivering that work.

Its lead and proposal tools cover qualification, ownership and follow-ups, then estimates and total-price proposals with payment schedules. Clients can accept proposals, and the system can provide downloadable signed receipts. After a job is underway, teams can manage phases, tasks, schedules, daily logs, inspections, documents and issues.

Client access is controlled through project invitations. Homeowners can see information the team chooses to publish, such as messages, shared files, invoices, progress, dates and decisions. This gives a contractor a way to share selected project details without implying that every internal record is visible to the client.

Key features

Leads, estimates and proposals

ProBuilder OS includes lead capture, qualification, ownership and follow-up tools. Contractors can prepare estimates and total-price proposals, set payment schedules, collect client acceptance and download signed receipts. Pipeline customization is basic, and email sync is not included.

Project operations and client communication

Project management covers phases, tasks, schedules, daily logs, inspections, documents, issues and team responsibilities. An invited homeowner can access the messages, files, invoices, progress updates, dates and decisions that a contractor publishes to the project.

Job costing

Pro and Business add category budgets, committed and actual costs, paid-cost records, earnings views and CSV cost export. These features give teams a way to organize job financials within the platform. QuickBooks and other accounting integrations are not current capabilities.

AI scope drafting

Eligible Pro and Business workspaces can receive editable proposal-scope drafts, subject to monthly action limits. The stated process removes known client, address, price, payment and file details before sending a request to the provider. This feature is available only when enabled.

Security and support

The service describes Firebase Authentication, signed HTTP-only sessions, verified-email onboarding and role checks in both interface and server workflows. It does not currently claim third-party compliance certifications and excludes formal compliance or regulated-data agreements unless stated in writing. Support is available by email at info@terrabuildr.com. The support page advises users not to send passwords, verification codes, invitation tokens or private client files.

Pricing

ProBuilder OS is paid software with no free plan and a 14-day trial. The listed monthly plans are Solo at 49.00 USD per month (billed $49/ month), Pro at 149.00 USD per month (billed $149/ month) and Business at 299.00 USD per month (billed $299/ month).

Solo includes 1 office user, up to 5 field users and unlimited leads, customers, estimates, proposals and projects. Its dedicated field workspace is coming soon. Pro includes up to 10 office users, unlimited reasonable field users and, when enabled, up to 250 AI scope-drafting actions/month. Business includes up to 25 office users, unlimited reasonable field users and, when enabled, up to 1,500 AI scope-drafting actions/month. Public field-app access is coming soon for Pro and Business.

Annual billing is listed as Solo annual at 490.00 USD per year (billed $490 annually · two months free), Pro annual at 1490.00 USD per year (billed $1,490 annually · two months free) and Business annual at 2990.00 USD per year (billed $2,990 annually · two months free). Each annual tier has the same user limits and included features as its corresponding monthly plan.

The pricing page says paid activation is opening after the trial rollout. Advanced automation, accounting integrations, public mobile distribution and offline field operation are not current capabilities, so buyers should confirm availability before relying on them for day-to-day work.

Platforms

ProBuilder OS lists Android, iOS and web support. Pro and Client mobile experiences are described, but iPhone and Android store release is in preparation; public mobile distribution is not yet a current capability. The dedicated field workspace and public field-app access are also identified as coming soon on the relevant plans. Offline field operation is not currently available.

Who it's for

This product is built for custom home builders, remodeling contractors, ADU and home-addition contractors, and other residential construction companies that need to connect lead follow-up, proposals, job workflows and client updates. Solo supports one office user and up to five field users; larger Pro and Business tiers allow more office users and unlimited reasonable field users, with public field-app access still forthcoming.

Homeowners looking for paint selection tools, product comparisons or a way to manage a personal decorating project may find the construction-business focus broader than they need. Contractors considering it should also account for the absence of current accounting integrations, email sync, offline field operation and public mobile app distribution.

Verdict

ProBuilder OS combines contractor lead and proposal workflows with project coordination, client-facing updates and, on Pro and Business, job costing. Its scope suits residential construction companies seeking a connected operating platform, particularly those that want to share selected project information with homeowners. The key qualifications are operational: paid activation is still opening after the trial rollout, mobile store distribution and field-app access remain in preparation, and accounting integrations, offline operation and advanced automation are not current capabilities. Contractors should weigh those limits against the tools already available in their workflow before choosing a plan.
