Overview

Planner 5D is a home, landscape and office design app for creating floor plans and arranging spaces in 2D and 3D. You can draw a plan, furnish and decorate rooms, then switch views to inspect the design. For homeowners planning a paint or renovation project, it can help explore how a room’s layout and furnishings fit together. It is a planning tool, however, rather than a dedicated paint product directory.

The app also describes AI tools for generating design ideas, exploring layouts and trying different styles. Its listed capabilities include real-time scenes, 360° tours, VR/AR support and AI visualisation tools. Those features may help you consider a room as a whole, but the supplied details do not specify paint-colour matching or product recommendations.

Planner 5D was founded in 2011 and is headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania. It offers a free plan, a free trial and paid subscriptions.

Key features

Floor plans and room layouts

Draw a floor plan, furnish rooms and move between 2D and 3D views. This gives you a way to work through room arrangement before deciding how to approach a surface or broader refresh.

AI tools and visualisation

Planner 5D describes AI features for generating ideas, exploring layouts and testing styles. Real-time scenes, 360° tours and VR/AR support are also listed. The available facts do not say that these tools simulate a particular paint, stain or coating, so treat them as design aids rather than guarantees of how a finish will look in your home.

Plan files and exports

You can upload JPG, PNG, PDF, DWG and DXF floor plans for recognition. PRO users can export 2D plans in DWG or DXF, a useful distinction if a project needs editable CAD files.

Business connections

Business integration options include Open API, SSO, CRM, e-commerce, shopping carts, ERP and DataStore connectivity. The B2B integration uses a JavaScript API and a server-to-server REST API; access is provisioned after signing.

Pricing

Planner 5D is freemium. The Free plan costs 0.00 USD per free, with no time limit. It includes unlimited projects, 50% of the furniture catalog and core 2D/3D design.

Premium: 19.99 USD per month, billed $19.99 with monthly billing or $59.99 billed annually. Includes the full 10,000+ item catalog, AI floor plan recognition, standard renders, Budget Widget and AI Studio credits.
Professional: 49.99 USD per month, billed $49.99 with monthly billing or $399.99 billed annually. Includes unlimited watermark-free 4K renders, custom 3D model uploads, CAD export, 360° panoramas and walkthroughs.
Enterprise: Custom priced around your scope and scale. Listed capabilities include a white-label room planner, 3D product configurator, APIs, and cart, CRM and ERP connections.

Subscriptions auto-renew. The maker says cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid another charge. A free trial is listed, but its duration and terms are not specified here.

Platforms

Planner 5D is available on Android, iOS, macOS, web and Windows. Projects sync across supported devices when you use the same account, but Android-only subscriptions do not support cross-platform synchronisation. Check that limitation if you expect to move between devices.

Who it's for

Planner 5D is described for non-professionals and homeowners as well as renovators, design enthusiasts, interior designers, architects and studios. A homeowner can use its floor-plan and furnishing tools to map out a room, while the higher-tier file, render and integration features may suit professional or business workflows.

Pros and cons

Pros: A free plan with unlimited projects; 2D and 3D planning; a broad range of supported platforms; and several file-import options.
Cons: The free plan includes only 50% of the furniture catalog; CAD export is listed for PRO users; and Android-only subscriptions cannot sync across platforms. The listed facts do not establish paint-specific matching or coating guidance.

Alternatives

For other approaches to room and interior planning, consider ArchiVinci, Spacely AI, Homestyler, REimagineHome, Remodel AI, RoomGPT, DecorAI or Hausey.

Verdict

Planner 5D is a broad space-planning app for people who want to draw, furnish and visualise a home, landscape or office layout. Its free plan provides a way to start without a time limit, while paid plans add catalog access, recognition, renders and professional exports at the listed prices. For a paint decision, use it to think through the room design rather than as a substitute for checking a coating’s suitability for your surface. Planner 5D says it uses reasonable organisational and technical safeguards for personal data but cannot guarantee absolute security. It also says it does not sell student data or process it for AI training or advertising. Support is listed at support@planner5d.com.
