Overview

Handymanda is an all-in-one app for solo handymen and teams. It brings scheduling, customer records, estimates, invoices, payments and timesheets into one system. For painters and other home-service professionals, that can help keep job details and customer communication together, from estimating work through to tracking time and collecting payment.

Estimates and invoices draw on stored customer information and an item catalog, with preset messaging available. Job records can hold comments, photos and files alongside scheduling and project-management information. Customer profiles can also include notes, files and photos, and the company says automated messages can be sent to customers.

Key features

Estimating, invoicing and payments

Handymanda creates estimates and invoices from saved customer records and catalog items. The listed capabilities also include estimate templates, invoice and payment tools, and electronic signatures. Payment collection is included with every plan.

Scheduling and job records

Scheduling and project management are built around job information that can include comments, photos and files. The app also lists online booking and a dispatch board, along with lead capture. These tools are relevant when coordinating work requests and keeping job details accessible to the people handling them.

Team time and location tracking

Every plan includes team time tracking, job costing and GPS-based team and job tracking. When a team member opens the mobile app, it captures their location; timestamps and geotags are added to job status changes. That makes location data part of job tracking, so teams should account for how they want this information used.

Reports, integrations and storage

Eight standard reports are included with every plan, as are unlimited notes, comments, files, attachments and photo uploads. The listed integrations are QuickBooks, Xero and Square. Handymanda says invoices, payments and customers sync to QuickBooks.

Hosting and support

The pricing page describes its cloud hosting as encrypted and secure, while the homepage says hosting and backups are managed in the cloud. Handymanda says customer support can guide setup and help with problems, and lists 855-981-7900.

Pricing

The Handymanda plan is 49.00 USD per month, billed at $49 /mo. The pricing note lists a 14-day trial and says no credit card is required. There is no free plan.

The plan allows unlimited techs to be added at $10/month/user and unlimited managers at $20/month/user. For large-team pricing, the site says to contact the company. Confirm the terms that apply to your team before choosing a plan.

Platforms

Handymanda is available on Android, iOS and the web. The pricing page lists native iOS and Android apps and browser support for Chrome, Edge, IE and Firefox.

Who it's for

Handymanda is aimed at solo handymen and teams managing service jobs. Painters who need to organize estimates, customer details, schedules, job files, invoices and payments may find its broad workflow relevant. Its team tracking and paid add-on rates for techs and managers are also worth considering if more than one person will use the system.

It is business software, not a paint-selection tool: the listed features focus on managing customers and jobs rather than choosing a colour or coating for a surface.
