ThatPainter is free to read. It is paid for in these ways:
- Ads on the stories of the Paint Desk, served by an advertising network.
- Referral links. Some links to shops (Amazon among them) and to makers go through a partner's referral address; if you buy, we may earn a commission. It never costs you more.
- Bought places on lists. Makers can buy a numbered place on an app list, a place beside a rival, a featured slot or a list's sponsorship. A bought place sits where it was bought. How we rank.
- Paid listings. A paid listing's link goes straight to the maker's site. It does not put a product on a list: ThatPainter's research decides that.
- Sponsored stories and links in stories, bought through "Sponsor this post".
Claiming a page to correct its facts is free and changes nothing about where a product stands.
