“20 Free Light Effects Photoshop Brushes” can refer to different brush packs, not one confirmed download. How to import an ABR brush file into Photoshop
Adobe documents support for ABR files, which can contain one or multiple brushes or brush packs. Its current instructions describe two ways to add them to Photoshop: use the Brushes panel or open the ABR file while Photoshop is running. See Adobe’s instructions for importing brushes and brush packs for the current interface steps.
- Download the brush file and confirm that it is an ABR file.
- In Photoshop, choose Window > Brushes to open the Brushes panel.
- Open the panel menu and choose Import Brushes, then select the ABR file.
- Alternatively, with Photoshop open, double-click the downloaded ABR file. Adobe says this adds the brushes to the Brushes panel.
After importing, look for the new brushes in the Brushes panel. If the labels or panel layout differ in your version, follow Adobe’s linked instructions for the current interface.

- File format: Look for ABR if you want a Photoshop brush file.
