The article says it was hand-screen-printed on clay-coated, FSC-certified paper and offered in several palettes. It was also available on contract vinyl and Terralon for commercial applications. Those surface options are the most substantial material information in the roundup, but they are historical records from 2017, not a guarantee of what can be ordered now. In a home, the paper version suits a room where the printing process and palette are part of the appeal; a designer specifying a commercial interior would need to confirm whether the contract surfaces and their performance ratings still exist.
Bed of Reeds — Feathr
Bed of Reeds is the restrained choice in the group. Azure compared its relatively minimal pattern to the feeling of birch-tree wallpaper, which suggests slender vertical marks and generous visual breathing room rather than a dense illustrated scene. It can therefore introduce height and a natural reference without making the wall the room’s only subject.

Because the source gives no roll dimensions, substrate, price or installation instructions, treat the design description as the reliable part of the record. The useful question is aesthetic: do you want a quiet, tree-like texture that can sit behind furniture, artwork or strong paint colors? Bed of Reeds is the option most likely to perform that supporting role.
L’alba delle lucciole (The Dawn of the Fireflies) — Wallpepper
The Dawn of the Fireflies is an immersive scene from Wallpepper’s Tropical attitude collection. It combines exotic wildlife with a whimsical setting, making it more narrative than a conventional botanical repeat. Confirm the applicable fire classification, certifications and paper construction for the market where you plan to use it. Contours is a strong fit when you want movement without identifiable animals or oversized leaves. In a study, entryway or living room, the map reference can read as architectural and tactile rather than overtly botanical. The 2017 article does not state the substrate, roll size, palette options or dimensions, so those decisions require a current product sheet rather than assumptions based on the image.
Persecution — Feathr
Persecution is the most dramatic narrative in the Feathr selections. Spanish designer Marcos Navarro created a complex jungle-hunt scene, filling the wall with an active encounter instead of a calm botanical arrangement. The density rewards close looking: it is intended to be read as an illustrated world, not as background texture.

Azure reported five colourways, including the pictured Night option. Colourway count is a product detail from that article, not a promise that all five remain in production. A dark version can make a dining room, lounge or hospitality space feel theatrical, while a lighter colourway may preserve more apparent wall brightness. Before choosing, check how the scene aligns across drops; the article supplies no current repeat, panel or installation data.

Azure gives one concrete format specification: the roll width was 1.38 metres. That unusually wide roll can reduce the number of vertical joins compared with a narrower wallcovering, but the actual installation benefit depends on the current product construction and the wall’s dimensions. Verify the width, repeat and available grounds before ordering, because the recorded measurement is from the 2017 article.
Wanderlust — York Wallcoverings
Wanderlust is the quiet counterpoint to the jungle and tattoo designs. It presents a softened mountain mural in grey, blue and green, with natural tones that create distance rather than visual commotion. Botanical walls
Cactus Spirit and Tropical are both plant-led, but they create opposite moods. Cactus Spirit is a collected study of distinct desert species, with the hand-screen-printed process and multiple palettes adding craft character. Tropical is defined by oversized leaves and background contrast, so it behaves more like a bold graphic field. Animal and story scenes
L’alba delle lucciole and Persecution use wildlife, but their emotional registers differ. The Dawn of the Fireflies is described as whimsical and suitable for a child’s room or adventurous hospitality setting. Persecution is a complex hunt, with greater dramatic tension and a documented five-colourway range. Both are scene-setting murals or scenic wallpapers, so wall interruptions and sightlines deserve more planning than they would with a small repeat.

Contours and Tattoo replace naturalistic scenery with systems of marks. Contours draws from topographic mapping and textured terrain; Tattoo uses familiar flash symbols. Wanderlust is the subdued option. Its grey, blue and green mountainscape can anchor a room without competing with art or furniture. The ten-panel, pre-pasted format makes it a clearly defined mural package, unlike the roll-based descriptions given for other selections.
Repeat wallpaper or mural: a practical decision
The roundup contains both repeating patterns and large-scale murals. A repeat wallpaper generally gives you more freedom to cover separate walls or work around openings because the visual logic continues across the surface. A mural concentrates the design into a fixed composition; it can deliver greater impact, but the panel layout and the wall’s exact dimensions become central.
- Choose a repeat-like pattern when you want to wrap a room, continue behind shelving or use the design on more than one wall. Bed of Reeds, Tattoo and the botanical prints are the clearest pattern-oriented choices in the descriptions.
- Choose a mural when one feature wall should carry the scene. The Dawn of the Fireflies and Wanderlust are explicitly identified as murals; Persecution is described as a jungle scene and should be evaluated for its composition at the intended scale.
- Check the physical package before relying on the old descriptions. Wanderlust was ten pre-pasted panels, while Tropical was reported at 1.38 metres wide; those details affect measuring and planning but may have changed.
What is documented—and what is not
