Pantone’s New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2025 report, published September 4, 2024, presents 10 standout colors and five seasonless shades—not one required color for the year. The fashion palette ranges across vivid colors, greens, blues, earthy mid-tones, and neutrals; for a home, treat it as inspiration and test any paint choice in your own room and lighting.
“All about you” is a useful shorthand for the report’s emphasis on individualism and personal style, not a claim that Pantone created custom palettes for readers. Pantone Executive Director Leatrice Eiseman said, “The colors for NYFW Spring/Summer 2025 combine comfort and glamour in an appealing way.”
What report is this?
This is Pantone’s Fashion Color Trend Report for Spring/Summer 2025 at New York Fashion Week. It is a seasonal fashion report, not a universal list for all of 2025 or a paint specification. Pantone groups the shades as 10 standout colors and five additional seasonless shades. The latter are presented as usable beyond one spring/summer fashion cycle; that label is not a guarantee that a shade will suit every room.

How to think about the colors for a painted space
The report is for fashion, not a ready-made paint collection. As a practical interpretation, consider the palette’s broad visual families: earthy mid-tones, greens, blues, vivid colors, and neutrals. These are not official rankings, and Pantone’s report does not name a most popular or winning shade.
For a restrained room, start by considering neutral shades such as Cocoon, Antique White, Moonbeam, or Blue Granite. For a deeper scheme, consider Eclipse, Kashmir, Rum Raisin, or Déja Vu Blue. Crocus, White Grape, Misted Marigold, Orangeade, Lime Cream, and Limpet Shell offer more expressive possibilities. These are starting points, not Pantone paint recommendations.

How to test a Pantone-inspired paint color
- Use the TCX code as a reference, not a paint formula. Paint systems and textile color references are not interchangeable.
- Get a physical paint sample. If coordinating closely with a Pantone textile reference matters, compare physical materials rather than relying on a screen image.
- Test a large sample in the room. Check it beside existing floors, trim, furniture, and other fixed finishes.
- View it in the room’s lighting. Look at the sample at different times of day and under the room’s lamps.
- Choose paint only after the sample works in context. A color name or code alone cannot ensure that a paint will look identical to a reference.

No. This is a report for New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2025, not a universal Pantone list for the year. Pantone’s other color programs and reports have different purposes and selections.
Can I use a TCX code to order matching paint?
A TCX code identifies a Pantone Fashion, Home + Interiors reference; it is not a universal paint formula. Ask a paint supplier about its matching process and test a sample on the intended surface.
