The names in the coverage should be kept distinct: the artwork was identified as a Godfrey Lohman piece, while the quoted comments were attributed to Robert Lohman. The available reporting does not establish a broader family, studio, or authorship relationship beyond those identifications.

What did the Justin Timberlake mugshot print look like?

| Question | What the reporting supports |
|---|---|
| What is the title? | “Tuesday Night Out Featuring Justin Timberlake” |
| Who is credited? | Artist Godfrey Lohman |
| What is the format? | Inkjet print on canvas |
| How many versions were reported? | Four color variations |
| What is the artistic style? | Andy Warhol-inspired celebrity pop art |
| Is it an original Andy Warhol? | No; reports identify it as a Lohman work inspired by Warhol |
The distinction between “Warhol-inspired” and “by Andy Warhol” matters. The available reports do not say that the late artist created, authorized, or owned the work. They describe a contemporary Lohman print that uses the visual logic associated with Warhol’s celebrity portraits and repeated-color compositions. Artnet News’ coverage of the artwork provides the contemporary arts-reporting context for that description.

Is the Justin Timberlake mugshot print real?
Yes. The artwork was a real, physically displayed print reported by contemporary entertainment, arts, and local-news outlets. “Real” does not mean that every online poster using Timberlake’s mugshot is the same work: the specifically documented piece is “Tuesday Night Out Featuring Justin Timberlake,” credited to Godfrey Lohman and shown at Romany Kramoris Gallery.
Readers looking for a Justin Timberlake mugshot art print should distinguish the documented gallery piece from unrelated celebrity posters, unofficial marketplace merchandise, digital images, and generic Warhol-style products. The available research does not verify that the exact Lohman edition is currently sold through Amazon, nor does it establish an authorized Timberlake merchandise arrangement.

Why did the mugshot become a pop-art subject?
The image had the qualities that make celebrity pop art immediately recognizable: a famous subject, a sharply defined public moment, and an image that circulated widely enough to become culturally familiar. Lohman’s stated comparison to Warhol focuses on the way a single media image can represent a particular moment in public life.
That context also explains why the work’s location mattered. Showing the print in Sag Harbor connected the artwork to the place where the arrest and booking photograph originated, rather than presenting it as an unrelated celebrity portrait in a distant market. The local account from Dan’s Papers described the artwork’s presentation and its multiple color versions.
