Matt said in Spanish: “Hola a todos. Soy Matt Jordan, y este vídeo terminará aquí.” The English rendering is: “Hello everyone. I’m Matt Jordan, and this video will end here.” The brief interruption explains why viewers encountered an apparently incomplete final tutorial rather than a conventional announcement.
Matt also described how much Donna valued her work: “Solo quiero decirles que a Donna le encantaba lo que hacía. No podía creer que pudiera ganar dinero cortando colchas y enseñando a la gente a hacerlas. Fue una gran bendición para ella y espero que también lo sea para todos ustedes.” In English: “I just want to say that Donna loved what she did. She couldn’t believe she could make money cutting quilts and teaching people to make them. It was a great blessing for her and I hope it is for all of you too.” The quotations and translations were reported by 20minutos.

Who was Donna Jordan from Jordan Fabrics?
Donna Jordan was known as a quilting-focused online teacher, pattern designer, and educator connected with Jordan Fabrics. Her tutorials taught viewers how to approach quilt projects, including the cutting and construction process. A community tribute described her as a master quilter whose approachable instruction encouraged people to try projects that initially looked difficult; that tribute provides personal context, not an independently verified measurement of her audience or influence.
Jordan Fabrics provides the business context for Jordan’s work. The official Jordan Fabrics website remains associated with quilt patterns, fabric, kits, pre-cut materials, sewing tools, and rulers. The business’s catalog also includes sections for sewing tools and quilting rulers. These current product categories help explain the connection between Jordan’s instructional videos and the practical supplies used by quilters, but they do not provide evidence about her medical history.

Why the wording matters
Death reports involving a public creator often prompt readers to search for a diagnosis, particularly when a headline refers to an illness becoming “acute.” In Donna Jordan’s case, the evidence supports only a general account: she had been seriously ill, her illness worsened late in life, and she died on March 14, 2025. A respectful report separates those verified facts from details that the family and public records have not supplied.
Jordan’s public legacy is clearer than the medical details. She taught quilting through accessible online instruction and was connected with a continuing quilting business. Her husband’s message emphasized that she loved cutting quilts and teaching people to make them, offering viewers a personal explanation for the work that had defined her public life.
