One concrete free logo PSD option is GraphicsFamily’s Free PSD Graphic Design Logo Template. Its listing names Adobe Photoshop CS6 and says “Free with attribution.” That makes it a possible starting point—not a guarantee of current availability, complete license terms, or a finished, exclusive logo. Check the asset page and license before using it for a business.
What a logo PSD template gives you
A PSD is a Photoshop document you can use as an editable starting point. Adobe says that when you open a template in Photoshop, you can work with it as you would with any other Photoshop document (.psd). The exact elements and degree of editability depend on the individual file, so inspect the downloaded document rather than assuming every part can be changed.

A template is not automatically a finished or exclusive brand identity. You may need to adapt its text, colors, shapes, and layout, then assess whether the result is distinctive enough for your use.

GraphicsFamily: Free PSD Graphic Design Logo Template
Open the GraphicsFamily asset listing to check whether the download is currently available and review the terms. The listing identifies Adobe Photoshop CS6 and labels the license “Free with attribution.” The available listing information does not establish the complete license terms or confirm the downloaded file’s contents. Treat attribution as a requirement, not as proof that every commercial use is permitted.
#1 Best Overall
- Confirm the download is an actual PSD and note which elements are editable.
- Read the full license on the asset page, including its rules for commercial use, attribution, modification, and redistribution.
- Do not assume that a free download grants exclusive rights or clears the design for trademark registration.
How to work with a PSD in Photoshop
- Download the file from the asset page after checking its license and file type.
- Open the .psd in Photoshop. Adobe’s guidance is that a template opened in Photoshop can be handled like another PSD document.
- Inspect the document’s layers and editable content, then make the changes the file allows. A third-party template may not have the same structure or editability as another template.
- Save a working copy so you retain the original, and export a separate version in the format you need for your intended use.
Adobe’s Photoshop templates help page explains the template workflow and notes that Photoshop users can download templates from Adobe Stock. It does not establish the contents or license of the GraphicsFamily file.
PSD download or online logo editor?
If you specifically need a Photoshop document, a PSD download gives you a file to open and edit in Photoshop. If you would rather customize a design online without starting with a PSD, Adobe Express offers editable logo templates with free and premium catalog filters. Its logo page describes customization and saving; check the options and terms shown there for your account and intended use.
Rank #2
Adobe’s catalog results captured on October 4, 2026 showed 1,060 graphic-logo templates and 9,024 logo templates. These are changing catalog counts, not a measure of market size or a guarantee that every result is free.

Before using a free logo in public
“Free” describes a price or access label, not every right you may need. Before putting a design on packaging, a website, or a storefront, make sure the license covers your intended use and that you can meet any attribution requirement. A template’s availability does not make the resulting logo exclusive, guarantee trademark clearance, or authorize you to redistribute the source file. If ownership or exclusivity is important, investigate those rights separately before committing to the design.
