The NID DAT 2025 application window is closed. The official B.Des. and M.Des. handbooks initially set the deadline at December 3, 2024, at 4 p.m.; Scroll later reported that applications were accepted until December 6, 2024, at 11 a.m. That later deadline was reported by Scroll, and an official extension notice was not located.
What was the NID DAT 2025 application deadline?
The official B.Des. handbook and M.Des. handbook listed December 3, 2024, at 4 p.m. as the application closing time. The B.Des. handbook gave September 3, 2024, as the opening date.
Scroll reported on December 3 that registration would end at 4 p.m. that day, then reported on December 6 that the deadline had been extended to 11 a.m. that day. Because the later date comes from Scroll’s December 6 report, rather than an official extension notice located here, it should not be treated as independently confirmed by NID.

Where was the official application portal?
NID’s admissions domain is admissions.nid.edu. The B.Des. handbook instructed applicants to sign up and complete the form online, and NID’s portal says applications are accepted online only and advises applicants to verify the URL. The 2025 application form is no longer open; use the live portal and the relevant current handbook for admissions dates and instructions for another cycle.
What were the scheduled exam dates?
The B.Des. and M.Des. 2025-26 handbooks scheduled DAT Prelims for January 5, 2025. Each programme had its own later-stage schedule, so applicants needed to consult the appropriate handbook for those dates. These are historical dates, not current exam information.

NID’s admissions site lists DAT sample test papers. NID also states that it does not encourage aspiring students to attend coaching classes and has not authorized or franchised such classes. Check the official site for current materials and guidance.
