Adobe Lightroom 11.1.2 is an Android build of Lightroom Mobile, not Lightroom Classic 11.1 for Windows or Mac. The build is associated with the Android package com.adobe.lrmobile, requires Android 8.0 or later, and is distributed as a split APK bundle.
For most people, the safest option is to install the current Adobe Lightroom app from Google Play. Adobe does not provide a dedicated official 11.1.2 download page in its public documentation. If you need this older build for a specific compatibility or historical reason, treat a third-party archive copy as an unofficial sideload and keep Google Play Protect enabled.

11.1.2 is not Lightroom Classic 11.1
Adobe has several products that use the Lightroom name. Similar version numbers do not mean that the applications are interchangeable.

If you are looking for a program to manage a local desktop catalog, Lightroom 11.1.2 is the wrong download. Compare Adobe’s descriptions of Lightroom and Lightroom Classic, or use Adobe’s pages for Lightroom desktop supported versions and Lightroom Classic supported versions.
Is 11.1.2 the latest Lightroom Mobile version?
No. Adobe’s public mobile release information lists Lightroom Mobile 11.5 for August 4, 2026. Therefore, 11.1.2 should be regarded as an obsolete historical build rather than the current Android release. Adobe’s public documentation identifies the major mobile release as version 11.1 in December 2025, while third-party archives list subsequent Android patch builds such as 11.1.1 and 11.1.2. The safest way to download Lightroom for Android
Unless you have a documented reason to use 11.1.2, install the current official app through Google Play. Adobe’s own download and installation instructions direct Android users to Google Play rather than to an Adobe-hosted historical APK.
- Open the Google Play Store on your Android phone or tablet.
- Search for Adobe Lightroom, or open the official Google Play listing.
- Confirm that the developer is Adobe and that the package is the genuine Lightroom application.
- Tap Install and wait for Google Play to complete the installation.
- Open Lightroom and sign in with an Adobe ID, or create a free account.
- Allow access to your photos when Android requests photo-library permission.
- To review paid tools, open Lightroom’s menu and select Premium Features.
This route gives you Play Store update handling and Google’s normal app-verification process. It also avoids the architecture, split-package, signature, and downgrade problems associated with manually installing an old build.

When an archived 11.1.2 APK might make sense
A historical build may be relevant if you are testing a legacy workflow, reproducing an old Android environment, or investigating a compatibility issue that appeared after an update. It is not a good default choice simply because a search result labels it as a free download or calls it the latest version.
Adobe does not currently offer a dedicated official 11.1.2 APK download in the public support material reviewed for this article. An archive listing can identify a build associated with Adobe’s package, but it should not be described as an official Adobe distribution.
Check the file before attempting installation
- Check Android: The listed build requires Android 8.0 or later.
- Check the processor: The relevant variants are ARM64, shown as
arm64-v8a, and x86-64, shown asx86_64. - Check the package: It should identify
com.adobe.lrmobile, not a similarly named or modified application. - Check the version code: The archive metadata reports
711101200for version 11.1.2. - Check the package structure: Expect a bundle containing a base package plus architecture, screen-density, and language splits.
- Check the hash if provided: The archive listing reports SHA-256

Installing a split APK bundle
A split APK bundle is not necessarily one self-contained APK. It can include a base APK and separate files for the device architecture, screen density, and language. Installing only the approximately 83.23 MB base APK may result in an incomplete installation.
- Back up important local photos, exports, and edits before replacing an existing Lightroom installation. Verify that cloud synchronization has completed if you use Adobe cloud storage.
- Obtain the complete bundle from a source you have independently evaluated. Do not use a package described as MOD, cracked, or Premium unlocked.
- Use a reputable split-APK installer that can install all files in the bundle together. The exact installer interface varies by Android version and file format.
- Android may require a per-source permission for the browser or file manager. On many devices this is under Settings > Apps > Special app access > Install unknown apps; labels vary by manufacturer. Grant only the permission needed for the installation and revoke it afterward.
- Keep Google Play Protect enabled while checking and installing the package.
- After installation, open Lightroom and verify the version in its About area. The menu path can differ between builds.
- If authentication, synchronization, or premium tools fail, remove the archived build through the normal Android app settings and reinstall the current Play Store version. Do not bypass security warnings to force the old build to work.
An attempted downgrade can also be blocked by Android, or it may conflict with the version already installed. Uninstalling an app can remove app-local data, so protect important local content before trying to replace the current version.
Security risks of downloading an APK outside Google Play
Android treats software installed outside Google Play as an unknown-source installation. That does not automatically prove that a file is malicious, but it removes the normal convenience and verification of the Play Store distribution path and places more responsibility on the person installing it.

- Keep Play Protect on. Google says Play Protect scans apps during installation and may also scan them afterward. It can warn about, disable, or remove an app it considers potentially harmful. See Google’s Play Protect documentation.
- Do not disable Play Protect to complete an installation. A download page that instructs you to turn off Android security protections is a significant warning sign. Google identifies attempts to persuade users to disable protections as a safety concern.
- Do not confuse branding with authenticity. A file can use Adobe’s name and icon while being modified. Packages advertising free Premium, MOD features, or unlocked subscriptions are not official Adobe editions.
- Use hashes correctly. A SHA-256 match checks file integrity against a particular archive listing. It is not a guarantee of ongoing support, server compatibility, or universal safety. Even an archive’s own verified-safe label is an assessment by that archive, not a security guarantee from Adobe.
- Consider account and privacy exposure. Lightroom can access photos and may connect to Adobe services. A modified or unknown package is a poor place to enter an Adobe password or upload private images.
The Android documentation on alternative distribution and unknown-source installation explains the general security model. For a normal Lightroom installation, Google Play remains the preferable route.
Device compatibility
The following requirements combine the 11.1.2 archive metadata with Adobe’s currently published Android requirements. The RAM and storage figures are Adobe’s current published guidance and should not be read as a guarantee that every device meeting them will perform identically.

Check Adobe’s Lightroom Mobile technical requirements before choosing either the current app or an old build. A device may technically meet the minimum requirements and still crash during demanding edits because of limited graphics performance, RAM, thermal throttling, or insufficient free storage.

Feature availability can change according to platform, account, plan, and release. Installing 11.1.2 does not legitimately unlock paid tools. If premium features remain locked, sign in with the Adobe account associated with the subscription and check Premium Features inside Lightroom.

Lightroom photos can be stored locally on the device or synchronized through Adobe’s cloud services. Installing an older APK does not guarantee that current cloud features, AI tools, camera profiles, authentication, or synchronization behavior will remain available.

Adobe does not publicly guarantee that an obsolete 11.1.2 installation will continue to authenticate or synchronize indefinitely. That is an uncertainty, not proof that the app will definitely stop working. If the old build is required, keep independent copies of important originals and exports rather than treating the APK as a backup strategy.
