“Animated Fireworks for Happy New Year 2025” describes a digital greeting or animation, not one specific clip. Examples range from short videos and vertical mobile greetings to seamless fireworks loops and animated-card concepts. Because it is now 2026, a greeting made for the next New Year should use the correct year rather than reuse a 2025 design unchanged.
What an animated fireworks greeting can be
There is no single animation identified by this title. Stock catalogs show several interpretations, including a short fireworks video with “2025,” a vertical loop, and an animated greeting-card design. These are catalog examples; they do not establish that a particular clip is currently available. iStock’s Happy New Year 2025 video search groups fireworks greetings with other celebratory clips.

A broader animated-fireworks catalog includes loopable footage, green-screen clips, and a 2025-to-2026 transition. Those options suit different jobs: a finished greeting is ready to share, while a clean loop or overlay can be combined with original lettering or artwork.
Choose a format that fits where it will appear
- Horizontal video: A practical fit for widescreen displays or landscape posts. Check the actual clip’s dimensions before editing.
- Vertical video: Designed for phone-first viewing. One catalog example is a 4K vertical seamless loop, but formats vary by asset.
- Looping background: Useful behind custom text or artwork. Confirm that the footage loops smoothly and that its duration suits the intended display.
- Green-screen overlay: Lets an editor place fireworks over a separate background. Check the clip’s keying quality and whether it includes text that cannot be changed.
- Animated card: A finished greeting may be simpler to share, but its wording and year may be fixed.
Check the year and message before using it
A visible “2025” makes an animation specific to that New Year. For a greeting intended for the upcoming New Year, update the year and confirm that any transition animation ends on the intended date. Fireworks without a printed year are more reusable, but accompanying text, countdowns, or other dated details can still make a clip unsuitable.

License the specific clip for the way you will use it
Royalty-free does not mean free to download or unrestricted. iStock’s Content License Agreement, last updated July 2026, offers standard and extended licenses and allows many project uses subject to restrictions. It says: “You may use content in any way that is not restricted (see Restricted Uses below).” The agreement prohibits using a file in a standalone way that lets others download, extract, or redistribute it as a standalone file.
