A very small powder room can feel intentional rather than cramped when one clear design idea controls the paint, tile, lighting, fixtures, and decoration. In this uptown Charlotte bachelor-pad makeover, that idea is a deep navy envelope paired with a glossy stacked-tile focal wall, a light patterned floor, and a few pieces of personal art. Why navy can work in a tiny, windowless room
The project uses Benjamin Moore Polo Blue in a satin sheen on the walls and trim. Use reflection as an accent, not visual noise
A reflective wall is most effective when the surrounding finishes give it room to stand out. Pairing glossy tile with a single paint color keeps the palette controlled. Before ordering, check the tile’s stated wall suitability, approved setting materials, edge details, grout requirements, and cleaning instructions. Focal wall or uniform finish?
