The current general macOS baseline is not the same as Blender 4.5’s compatibility range: Blender 4.5 LTS also supports Intel Macs and macOS 11.2 Big Sur. The official requirements page lists older GPU support for Blender 4.5 LTS, including NVIDIA GeForce 400 or newer, AMD GCN first generation or newer, and Intel Broadwell or newer. Cycles GPU rendering has additional requirements, so consult the manual and GPU vendor for your setup.

For sculpting, painting, and Grease Pencil drawing, Blender recommends a pen tablet or pen display. It is not required for every Blender user, but pen control can suit those workflows better than a mouse.
If you are shopping for one, a pen tablet for Blender is most relevant when you will actually sculpt, paint, or draw. Choose based on pen feel, pressure response, active-area size, driver support for your operating system, and whether you prefer a screen tablet or a tablet that sits beside your monitor. Blender’s license and your artwork
Blender is released under the GNU General Public License. The GPL applies to the Blender application and its distribution, not automatically to artwork you create with Blender. Your project files, renders, textures, and other original work are not simply forced under the GPL merely because Blender was used to make them.
Review the license for third-party add-ons, models, textures, fonts, HDRIs, and other assets separately. Their terms may restrict commercial use, redistribution, modification, or inclusion in a product.
