The headline’s “transform her body” describes a gradual tattoo project, not a weight-loss or medical transformation.

How did she organize the collection?

She described liking the organization of working in themes. For planning, she sketched concepts on an iPad and shared a moodboard with the tattoo artists she worked with: Ben Tuckey, Ben Koopman, and Allegra Maeva.
What was the process and schedule?
Valentine told People she generally booked six- to seven-hour full-day sessions, going weekly or fortnightly while completing a sleeve or other themed section. Once a section was finished, she took a break to plan the next one. Her account describes an intensive stretch of appointments followed by a pause, rather than a fixed schedule across the entire five years.

She said she had wanted tattoos for a long time, but initially worried about pain because she disliked ordinary needles and blood draws. After her first studio visit, she said, she got over that fear and booked her first sleeve about a week later.
What has living with the tattoos been like for her?
Valentine has described the tattoos as a source of increased confidence. She has also said that her appearance can bring unwanted attention and judgment in everyday interactions. Those are her personal experiences, not evidence that heavily tattooed people all have the same response from others.
