BTicino MY HOME is described in an HPM-hosted technical guide as a wired, bus-based building-automation system organised into zones. Its architecture combines a central unit, sensors, an electrical panel, actuators and an E46ADCN power supply; the documented central unit supports up to 99 zones. The guide also describes internet-based management through the BTicino My Home Web portal.
That older MY HOME description should not be treated as a catalogue of every current HPM or Legrand smart-home product. HPM’s present pages describe a broader set of connected-home and energy-management products, but they do not establish that every current device integrates with a particular MY HOME installation. Exact model compatibility, portal status, wiring and local availability must be checked against installation documentation before work begins.

BTicino MY HOME is a building-automation concept in which a central controller manages multiple defined areas, or zones, over a bus. A zone may represent a room, apartment area or another controlled section of a building, depending on how the installation is designed. The HPM guide presents the system for large residences, apartment buildings and larger service-sector premises, including offices, shops, shopping centres and banks.
The guide identifies a central unit rated for up to 99 zones. That is a stated system capacity, not an independent performance test or a guarantee that every installation can use all 99 zones. The actual number of zones depends on the selected equipment, wiring design, commissioning and the requirements of the building.

HPM hosts the guide, which describes the technical content as older. The guide’s publication date is not established, and it does not prove that the named central unit, E46ADCN supply or My Home Web service remains available in every market. Treat those details as documentation of the described system and verify current status locally.
How the documented architecture works
The guide’s diagram shows a control chain rather than a collection of unrelated smart devices. Power and control information are distributed through the installation so that sensors can report conditions and actuators can carry out commands under central management.
Recommended Free Tools
| Element | Role in the HPM-described system |
|---|---|
| Central unit | Coordinates the zoned installation; the guide describes a version supporting up to 99 zones. |
| Sensors | Provide information from the controlled areas to the automation system. |
| Bus | Provides the wired system connection between the control equipment and field devices shown in the diagram. |
| Actuators | Receive commands and operate the connected electrical functions. |
| Electrical panel | Houses or connects the installation’s electrical equipment as shown in the system layout. |
| E46ADCN power supply | Named by the guide as the power-supply component for the system diagram. |
This arrangement is different from a collection of standalone wireless products. The central unit, bus, sensors and actuators must be considered as one engineered installation. A part number that appears in a search result is not enough to establish that it belongs on a particular MY HOME bus or that it can replace an older component.
What can a BTicino home-automation system control?
Functions supported by the specific MY HOME description
For the MY HOME system covered by the HPM guide, the guide supports a zoned-control model and remote management. It does not provide a current function-by-function list for every possible actuator or installation. In practical terms, the system can coordinate the devices assigned to its zones, but the controlled loads and operating scenes depend on the actuators, sensors and configuration installed in that building.

Functions described on HPM’s broader smart-home pages
Separate, current HPM pages describe a wider smart-home offer that includes lighting, energy management, automations, scenarios, wireless controls, temperature control, security and video door entry. HPM’s energy-efficiency material also discusses residential automation, energy-consumption control, lighting and blind management, temperature and smartphone management.
Those statements describe HPM’s broader smart-home and energy-efficiency portfolio. They should not be read as proof that an older or specific MY HOME installation includes every one of those functions. To answer “can my BTicino system control the blinds?” or a similar question, identify the central unit, bus devices and actuators in the actual installation and consult their documentation.

Remote management: what the guide says and what it does not prove
The HPM guide says the 99-zone central unit can be controlled and managed remotely over the internet through the BTicino My Home Web portal. In the documented design, remote access is therefore an intended management method, not merely a local wall-control feature.
However, the source does not confirm that the older portal is still operating, that accounts can still be created, or that a current replacement service supports every historic installation. Before promising remote access to an owner, verify the portal or app required for the exact central unit, the region in which it is installed, account provisioning, network requirements and the manufacturer’s current support position.

Who the 99-zone design was intended for
The guide calls the 99-zone central unit an ideal solution for several larger-building contexts:
- Large private homes
- Apartment buildings
- Large buildings
- Offices
- Shops
- Shopping centres
- Large banks
The list indicates the scale of premises contemplated by the guide. It does not mean that a 99-zone controller is necessary for every large property, nor does it establish a current maximum for all BTicino automation products. Use the figure when identifying the documented MY HOME architecture, then confirm the capacity of the specific current model or replacement proposed by an installer.

A qualified designer or installer should treat the project as a system-matching exercise. The following sequence helps prevent the most common specification errors.
- Define the zones. Decide what each zone represents in the building and which loads or conditions need to be observed or controlled there. Do not assume that a room automatically equals one zone.
- Inventory the existing equipment. Record the central-unit model, bus devices, sensors, actuators, electrical-panel equipment and power supply. Photograph labels and keep the original diagrams.
- Check capacity and topology. Compare the planned zone count with the central unit’s documented capacity. Confirm the bus wiring arrangement and device requirements in the installation manual rather than relying on a generic wiring diagram.
- Match actuators to loads. Identify what each actuator is intended to operate and verify electrical ratings, control method and regional approvals. The HPM guide names the actuator category but does not provide a current universal actuator part number.
- Verify the power supply. The guide names the E46ADCN. Confirm whether the installed supply is that model, whether it is still approved for the planned equipment and whether a proposed replacement has the required specifications.
- Confirm the control interface. Establish whether the installation is intended to use local controls, the documented My Home Web portal, a current app or another gateway. Do not promise internet control until the service path has been tested.
- Commission and document. Label zones, sensors and actuators; save configuration files and diagrams; and give the owner a record of model numbers, access credentials and support contacts.
MY HOME compared with newer connected-panel and wireless approaches
HPM’s current material describes adjacent approaches, including connected-panel equipment and smart-wiring controls. The comparison below identifies the questions to ask; it does not establish that one approach is better or that the products interoperate.

| Decision point | Documented BTicino MY HOME | HPM connected-panel material | HPM smart-wiring controls |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core architecture | Central unit, wired bus, sensors and actuators | CX³ with Netatmo switches, contactors, energy meters and gateways | Range includes wired and battery-operated wireless controls |
| Control emphasis | Zoned building automation; remote management is described through My Home Web | Connected-panel monitoring and control using the named equipment and Home + Control app functionality | Flexible control-device installation, with wired and wireless options |
| Retrofit question | Requires verification of the existing bus, central unit, actuators and panel | Requires checking panel space, gateway and device requirements | Wireless options may reduce control wiring, but exact installation constraints still apply |
| Compatibility | Must be checked against the exact MY HOME equipment and documentation | Current HPM pages do not establish compatibility with MY HOME | Current HPM pages do not establish compatibility with MY HOME |
| Remote interface | My Home Web is named in the older guide; present availability is not confirmed | Home + Control app functionality is described for the connected-panel offer | Depends on the selected control and connected equipment |
The important distinction is not simply “wired versus wireless.” It is whether the central controller, bus devices, gateway, app and electrical equipment belong to the same documented ecosystem. A connected panel with a gateway may solve a different problem from a 99-zone MY HOME installation, even if both are marketed as smart-home equipment.

BTicino MY HOME actuators
“BTicino MyHOME actuator” is the most useful category phrase when looking for the field devices shown in the guide. The source identifies actuators conceptually but does not provide a current actuator model, retail listing or confirmed marketplace availability. Before buying, obtain the exact part number and confirm bus, load, firmware and regional compatibility.

E46ADCN power supply
The E46ADCN is specifically named in the guide as the power supply. That name alone is not evidence that it is currently sold or that it is the correct replacement for every MY HOME panel. Check the installed unit’s label and the current technical documentation.
Adjacent HPM product families
HPM’s current materials also mention BTicino Classe 300 EOS smart intercom equipment and Legrand CX³ with Netatmo connected-panel components. They are relevant product categories for door entry and electrical-panel connectivity, respectively, but the cited HPM material does not establish that either is compatible with a MY HOME installation. Treat them as separate options until product-specific documentation says otherwise.

Limits of the available evidence
HPM identifies Bastien Minotte, Marketing Manager of Legrand for Smart Home, and quotes him describing a coherent, scalable and durable connected-home ecosystem. That is a company representative’s statement about the broader Legrand ecosystem; it is not an independent test of the older MY HOME system.
No independent market statistic, quantified energy-saving result or third-party performance study specific to BTicino MY HOME is established here. Claims that the system saves a particular percentage of energy, works with every current Netatmo or Legrand device, or retains uninterrupted portal support would go beyond the documented evidence.

Bottom line for architects and building owners
BTicino MY HOME, as documented by HPM, is a centralised, bus-based automation system designed to organise large installations into as many as 99 zones. Its defining pieces are the central unit, bus, sensors, actuators, electrical panel and E46ADCN power supply, with remote management described through the My Home Web portal.
For a new design or refurbishment, keep that documented MY HOME architecture separate from HPM’s broader current smart-home and connected-panel offerings. Start with the existing system’s model numbers and wiring, then verify every proposed actuator, gateway, app and support service. That process is more reliable than assuming that a product carrying a BTicino, Legrand or Netatmo name will connect to the installation.
