That does not mean every Bunnings warehouse provides every service. Store size, local contractors, equipment and council or licensing requirements can affect availability. Select your store on the Bunnings website or contact the location before relying on a service.
Order online and get purchases home
Click & Collect
Click & Collect lets you place an order online and collect it from an eligible Bunnings store. It is useful when you need certainty that stock is set aside, want to avoid walking through the warehouse for a small list, or cannot meet a delivery window. The product page and checkout show whether the item can be collected at your selected location and when it should be ready.
Check the collection instructions before leaving home. Large or awkward products may require a suitable vehicle, two people or a different collection point. If an item is split across stores, the checkout may offer separate collection choices rather than one complete order.

Click & Deliver sends eligible purchases to an address you nominate. Bunnings groups delivery into parcel and vehicle-based services, with the available choice determined by the product, quantity, destination and access conditions. Fees, distance limits, lead times and promotions are not permanent. A delivery available for one product may not be available for another, even at the same address. Measure gates, driveways and turning areas, remove obstacles and tell Bunnings about restricted access before a vehicle arrives. If a truck or crane cannot safely reach the site, you may face a rescheduled delivery or need to arrange another method.

Rent a vehicle or borrow a trailer
The delivery information also lists ute and van hire and trailer borrowing. These can make Click & Collect practical when you have purchased lengths, sheets or other items that will not fit in a normal car. Confirm licence, deposit, booking, opening-hour and load-security requirements with the selected store; the service conditions are location-specific.
In-store conveniences that save a separate trip
The 19-service catalogue includes several small but useful jobs. Availability varies by store, so check the selected location rather than assuming the service is universal.

Paint matching and sample pots
Bunnings can match paint from a flat, dry sample. Bring a clean sample with enough surface area for the staff member to scan; glossy, wet, textured or badly faded samples can produce a less reliable match. A sample pot lets you test the colour in the actual room before committing to a larger quantity. Lighting, sheen and the age of the original coating can make two paints appear different even when the scan is close.
DIY workshops and kids’ activities
Workshops provide guided instruction for selected projects, while kids’ activities are aimed at younger participants. Places, subjects and session schedules change. Book through the current store listing when registration is required, and check age, supervision, materials and cancellation conditions.
Key cutting
Key cutting is a convenient option for common household keys. Take the original key and test the duplicate in the lock before making additional copies. Specialist, restricted, damaged or electronic keys may require a different provider.

Pool-water testing
Pool-water testing can identify treatment adjustments from a water sample. Use a clean container, follow the store’s sample instructions and record the result before adding chemicals. A test is guidance, not a substitute for reading the product label or seeking specialist help when water is unsafe or equipment is malfunctioning.
Gas swap
The gas-swap service lets customers exchange an eligible empty cylinder for a filled one. Cylinder type, size, condition and local stock matter. Special Orders
Bunnings says its Special Orders range contains more than 40,000 products. Items can be ordered online for delivery or arranged for pickup at a local store. Special Orders are useful when a colour, size, finish or building component is not part of the normal shelf range. Read the product-specific lead time, freight charge, return conditions and any minimum quantity before ordering; a special-order item may not follow the same returns process as ordinary stock.

Door-lock installation
Bunnings lists door-lock installation through a licensed locksmith. After the service is requested, Bunnings says the locksmith will contact the customer within two business days to arrange a suitable time. That contact window is not a promise that installation will be completed within two days, and the available coverage or appointment schedule is not universal nationwide.
Before booking, identify the door type, existing lock, required security features and whether the door needs modification. Ask who supplies the lock, what labour includes, how old hardware is disposed of, and what happens if the door or frame needs additional work. Keep the confirmation and any quote until the job is complete.
Garage-door installation
Garage-door installation is another listed home service. A site may need measurements, clearance checks, power access and an assessment of the existing tracks or opener. Have the opening width, height and headroom available when requesting information. Confirm whether removal of the old door, electrical work, disposal, weather sealing and follow-up adjustments are included, because the catalogue listing alone does not establish a single nationwide package.

Kitchen consultations are available in-store, virtually and in-home, depending on location and appointment capacity. Prepare a rough floor plan, wall and ceiling measurements, photos, plumbing and electrical locations, appliance dimensions and your preferred working budget. A consultation can help develop a layout and identify products, but it does not remove the need to verify building approvals, waterproofing, electrical licensing or structural changes with the appropriate professionals.

Bunnings Trade operates a separate support range for builders, landscapers, maintenance teams and other professional customers. It includes:

Trade arrangements can involve account setup, delivery scheduling, staged orders and site-specific access rules. Give the trade team the job address, required dates, unloading conditions and purchase quantities. Do not assume that a consumer delivery option, return rule or appointment process automatically applies to a trade account.
How to choose the right Bunnings service
- Define the job. Decide whether you need collection, delivery, consultation, installation, hire, testing, recycling or a hard-to-find product.
- Check the product and postcode. Enter the delivery postcode on the product page and select the intended store. Eligibility is product- and location-dependent.
- Measure access. Record doorways, gates, driveway width, ceiling clearance, turning space and unloading surfaces before selecting ute, truck or crane delivery.
- Confirm timing. Compare the stated lead time with your project schedule. Rapid or same-day options may have cut-offs and limited stock.
- Ask what is included. For installation and consultation, confirm labour, materials, disposal, follow-up visits, licences and exclusions in writing.
- Prepare documents and samples. Bring a dry paint sample, key, pool-water sample, product model number or room measurements as appropriate.
- Keep the order record. Save the confirmation, quote, booking time and contact details in case stock, access or appointment conditions change.
Common problems and practical fixes
The service is not shown for your store
Try another nearby location, call the store and check whether the service is appointment-only or temporarily unavailable. Do not travel expecting a service that the selected store has not confirmed.
The delivery option disappears at checkout
Recheck the postcode, quantity, product dimensions and stock source. Splitting the order, choosing Click & Collect or selecting a different store may produce a workable option. For oversized items, ask about vehicle access rather than repeatedly attempting parcel delivery.
The delivery vehicle cannot access the property
Measure the route again, move parked vehicles and identify low branches, wires, steep slopes or soft ground. If access remains unsuitable, arrange collection, a smaller vehicle or an agreed alternate drop point before dispatch.
A paint match looks wrong on the wall
Let the sample dry fully, compare it in the room’s normal light and check the finish as well as the colour. If the original sample was glossy, textured or faded, explain that to the paint desk before producing another test pot.
An installation needs more work than expected
Stop before authorising extra work you do not understand. Request a written explanation of the issue, the added labour or materials, and the revised total. For electrical, structural or other regulated work, use the appropriately licensed professional.
What to verify before relying on a listing
Bunnings’ catalogue is a useful starting point, but fees, stock, delivery windows, participating stores and contractor coverage can change. Check the current service page, the product’s postcode result and the selected store’s appointment information on the day you order. This is especially important for same-day delivery, crane access, installations, workshops, gas exchange, battery recycling and Special Orders.
