Paris has plenty of apartment-style accommodation, but “apartment” can describe very different experiences. A serviced aparthotel may provide a kitchenette, reception and hotel-style housekeeping; a furnished tourist rental may be a self-contained flat with no daily service. The dependable shortlist below focuses on properties with a published address and identifiable positioning, then gives you a method for checking any additional listing without relying on attractive photos alone.

Five properties have enough publicly stated information to compare responsibly. A sixth is included as a clearly labelled lead from January 2026 reporting, not as a currently confirmed recommendation. Rates, availability, equipment and local compliance must be checked for your dates.
What “Paris apartment” should mean before you book
Paris je t’aime describes an aparthotel as a middle ground between a hotel and a furnished apartment: studios can include kitchenettes, while larger units may have separate bedrooms alongside hotel services. That combination is useful for travelers who want a refrigerator and dining area but still value a staffed desk or predictable arrival process. Read the property’s own description carefully, because the word apartment does not establish a particular service level.

Perfect for walls, trim, cabinets, doors, furniture, and detailed cutting-in work on any project.
- ZERO BRISTLE LOSS — GUARANTEED BY PRECISION ADHESIVE BONDING — Every bristle is locked in place with precision-set adhesive that keeps them in the brush — not in your paint job. Combined with the 1.5 and 2.5 inch angle sash brushes you have precision cutting-in covered at every scale — baseboards, crown molding, door casings, and ceiling lines.
- FLAT BRUSHES FOR BROAD SMOOTH COVERAGE ON ANY SURFACE — The 1 and 2 inch flat brushes deliver even coverage on walls, furniture, shelving, doors, fences, decks, and wood surfaces. Ideal for applying primers, stains, varnishes, polyurethane, and specialty coatings. Solid wood handles provide all-day comfort and control for both professional contractors and weekend DIY homeowners tackling interior or exterior painting projects.
- TRUSTED BY PROFESSIONAL PAINTERS AND CONTRACTORS NATIONWIDE — Pro Grade delivers professional-grade results at a price that makes sense for crews who go through brushes on every job. Ideal for property managers, remodeling contractors, apartment turnover crews, maintenance teams, and commercial painting operations. Backed by thousands of verified reviews from working painters. Washable and reusable for multiple projects.
For a private furnished tourist rental, ask different questions. Is there a staffed reception or only a host phone number? Is luggage storage available before check-in? How often is cleaning provided, and is a final-cleaning charge added? Does the building have a lift, and is the route from the entrance step-free? Which pans, dishes, utensils and appliances are actually supplied? These details affect the stay more than a polished interior photograph.
Paris je t’aime gives an indicative range of €200–€300 per day and €1,500–€2,000 per week for a central Paris three-star, one-bedroom aparthotel. The page does not state when that estimate was compiled, so use it only as historical context, not as a current quote. Your dates, occupancy, cancellation terms and unit type can move the total substantially.

Five properties, five different reasons to look
Citadines Opéra Paris: a central 2nd-arrondissement starting point
The official page gives 18 rue Favart, 75002 Paris, and positions the apartment hotel near Opéra. The 2nd arrondissement is a practical base if your itinerary mixes central sights, shopping streets and several metro lines, but do not infer a specific station or journey time from the phrase “near Opéra.” Put the address into your preferred transit app and test the routes you will actually take.

For a short stay, compare a studio with a one-bedroom rather than assuming the larger category is automatically better. A separate bedroom can make the difference for two people on different schedules, while a studio may be more efficient if you spend most days out. Confirm whether the quoted occupancy uses a sofa bed, and ask for the floor plan or bed dimensions if those affect your choice.
Citadines Tour Eiffel Paris: left-bank access with a documented metro reference
The official listing gives 132 boulevard de Grenelle, 75015 Paris, and specifically mentions Motte-Picquet-Grenelle metro station nearby, along with property services. That makes it the clearest example in this group for travelers who want a published transit reference rather than a vague neighborhood label.
Check the practical details that photographs cannot show. Ask whether the entrance, lift and apartment route are step-free; Parisian buildings can have thresholds or narrow corridors even when a lift exists. If you are booking for a family, verify the number of usable beds rather than relying on the maximum occupancy. Request the current kitchen inventory if you expect to cook more than breakfast.
Citadines Montmartre Paris: choose the hill-and-neighborhood experience deliberately
Citadines Montmartre Paris is listed at 16 avenue Rachel, 75018 Paris, and the official page describes a Montmartre location. Montmartre can suit travelers who want a residential-feeling base and evening walks, but the neighborhood’s slopes and stairways make the exact route from the station important.

Before booking, map the final approach with your luggage. Confirm whether the apartment has a lift, where the lift stops, and whether any internal stairs remain. Ask about street-facing versus courtyard-facing rooms if sleep is a priority, and verify the air-conditioning arrangement for your travel season. “Apartment” still does not tell you how often towels or linens are changed, so obtain that policy in writing.
Nestay Paris: design-led apartments on rue Saint-Denis
Nestay’s official site gives 158 rue Saint-Denis, 75002 Paris, and describes individually designed apartments using high-end materials and contemporary furniture. This is the strongest design-forward lead in the group, but an attractive common aesthetic does not guarantee that every unit has the same layout or equipment.

Résidence Lemercier by Edgar Suites: a reported family-and-group lead
A 21 January 2026 article from Who What Wear reports that Résidence Lemercier by Edgar Suites comprises six apartments in the 17th arrondissement, with full kitchens and dining areas. That is useful for families or groups who need a real dining table and cooking capacity, but the report is secondary and does not establish a current official inventory.

Treat it as a lead to verify directly with the operator. Obtain the exact address, current photographs of the specific unit, occupancy rules, bedroom and sofa-bed configuration, reception or host contact, cleaning terms and cancellation policy. Also check the route to your intended metro or rail connection; an arrondissement label alone is not a transit plan.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How to compare apartment-style stays without being misled
1. Start with the arrondissement, then the door-to-door route
Paris addresses are highly specific. The 2nd, 15th, 17th and 18th arrondissements can feel very different, and even two addresses in the same arrondissement may have different noise, slope and transit conditions. Record the complete street address, identify the nearest station, and estimate the walk with luggage. Check the route at the times you expect to travel, especially if you will return late or use a wheelchair or stroller.
2. Match floor area and beds to the people actually traveling
Do not compare “sleeps four” listings as though they offer the same comfort. Write down separate bedrooms, sofa beds, bed widths and bathroom count. Ask whether the stated capacity includes children, whether a cot costs extra and whether the living room must be converted each night. A smaller apartment with two proper beds may work better than a larger unit built around a sofa bed.
3. Audit the kitchen instead of trusting the word kitchenette
Request a current list of cooking equipment: refrigerator size, hob, oven or microwave, dishwasher, pans, utensils, plates and glasses. Clarify whether basics such as salt, oil and coffee are supplied. If you only need breakfast, a compact kitchenette may be sufficient; if you plan several dinners, counter space and ventilation matter as much as the appliance list.

- Works with Latex Paint, Oil-Based Paint & Stains – Premium synthetic filaments hold more paint, reduce streaks, and provide a clean finish with latex paints, oil coatings, and wood stains.
4. Define the service model
Ask five direct questions before booking:
- Is reception staffed, and during which hours?
- How does late arrival work?
- Is luggage storage available before check-in and after check-out?
- When are apartments cleaned, and are towels or linens replaced on a schedule?
- Who handles an urgent maintenance problem at night?
Written answers are more reliable than an icon or a sentence saying “hotel services.”
5. Check accessibility and building realities
Confirm lift dimensions, entrance steps, corridor width, shower access and any internal stairs. Ask for photographs or measurements when a member of your party has mobility requirements. Paris buildings can combine a modernized apartment with an older entrance, so assess the complete route from pavement to bed.
6. Compare the complete, date-specific cost
Enter the same dates and occupancy for every candidate. Add cleaning charges, city taxes, deposits, optional breakfast, extra-bed fees and any service charge. Compare refundable and non-refundable prices separately. The historical €200–€300 daily and €1,500–€2,000 weekly figures from Paris je t’aime are a broad reference for a central three-star one-bedroom aparthotel, not a promise about any property or season.
A booking checklist you can use in ten minutes
- Copy the exact address. Check the arrondissement, nearest station and luggage route.
- Open the unit page, not only the property homepage. Record floor area, beds, bathrooms and maximum occupancy.
- Save the kitchen inventory. Note the refrigerator, hob, oven or microwave, dishwasher and supplied cookware.
- Read service terms. Find reception hours, late check-in instructions, cleaning frequency and luggage storage.
- Verify access. Ask about lifts, steps, shower type and corridor constraints.
- Price the whole stay. Include taxes, fees, deposit, breakfast and cancellation conditions.
- Get unresolved answers in writing. Keep the message with your booking confirmation.
Private furnished rentals and Paris rules
If you choose a self-contained furnished tourist rental rather than an aparthotel, consult the City of Paris guidance on furnished tourist rentals before committing. The municipal page is marked updated 25 March 2026 in its search result, and requirements can change. Confirm the current rules directly on the live page; do not assume that a listing’s “legal” wording proves compliance.
For any rental, retain the host’s cancellation terms, check-in instructions and contact details. A lower nightly rate is not a saving if a missing lift, restricted arrival window or unexpected cleaning fee makes the stay unsuitable.
Which option fits which traveler?
- Choose an aparthotel if you want a defined reception process, a consistent service contact and an apartment layout.
- Choose a furnished rental if privacy, a full home setup and self-managed routines matter more than staffed services.
- Choose a central 2nd-arrondissement base when reducing cross-city travel is more important than having a quiet residential setting.
- Choose Montmartre or the 15th arrondissement when the neighborhood atmosphere or left-bank location is part of the trip, and you have checked the actual route.
- Choose a reported family-sized residence only after the operator confirms the current unit, address and service terms.
The most reliable way to find a chic Paris apartment is not to count attractive listings. It is to match a verified address and unit to your transit needs, sleeping arrangement, kitchen expectations, service requirements and exact budget.
