dbrand’s Sketch 2D is a physical skin that gives the Google Pixel 10 a hand-drawn, cartoon-like appearance. Black outlines and illustrated shading create the impression of a doodle wrapped around the phone, but the Pixel’s screen, software, and camera output stay exactly the same. It is a cosmetic skin—not a case or drop-protection accessory.
How Sketch 2D makes the Pixel 10 look illustrated
The design uses drawn-looking outlines and faux shading to make the phone’s three-dimensional body appear like a flat cartoon object. It is a visual effect printed on an adhesive skin, not an Android feature or a change to the phone’s display, icons, wallpaper, or photos. How convincing the illusion looks depends on lighting, viewing angle, coverage choice, and installation.
dbrand listed the Sketch 2D design for the Pixel 10 when its product page was checked on August 18, 2026. The design launched around December 25, 2025, and launch coverage reported it for selected other devices as well. 9to5Google’s launch report also noted a Galaxy Z TriFold giveaway, but its entry period ended January 3, 2026.

dbrand’s selector lists the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. These are model-specific skins, not one universal cut: choose the exact phone in the dbrand Pixel 10 skins selector before ordering.
Price and what comes in the Essential Kit
On August 18, 2026, dbrand showed the Pixel 10 Sketch 2D Essential Kit for $22.20, discounted from a listed $24.95. The same page offered two screen protectors as a $24.95 promotional add-on against a listed $34.95, and a Google Logo Pack for $8.85 against a listed $9.95. Those are observed page prices, not guaranteed checkout totals; taxes, shipping, regional pricing, configuration, and later promotions can change what you pay.

The Essential Kit includes:
- One full-coverage back skin that extends over the back and sides.
- One simpler back-only skin.
- Two camera skins with openings for lenses and sensors.
- One microfiber cloth.
The two back pieces are alternatives, not layers to stack. dbrand describes the full-coverage piece as harder to apply and the back-only version as easier. Full coverage creates a more complete illustrated treatment, while the simpler fit leaves more of the sides exposed.
It protects against scratches, not drops
dbrand describes its Pixel 10 skin as thin, textured, precisely cut, factory-fit in appearance, and intended to protect against scratches. Those are the manufacturer’s product claims. The skin does not provide the impact protection of a case, bumper, or screen protector, and it does not cover the screen or protect corners from a drop.

If you often drop your phone, use a case with meaningful impact protection over a compatible skin—or choose a protective case instead. A skin may fit beneath some cases, but compatibility is not established for every third-party case. Tight case edges can catch or lift the film, and camera-area clearances vary. Check compatibility for your specific Pixel model and case rather than assuming a universal fit.
The included camera pieces have cutouts around lenses and sensors; they are not a continuous sticker over the whole camera system. The available product information does not establish whether the skin works with every case or confirm wireless-charging behavior for this specific Pixel 10 skin.

Installing the skin without trapping dust
dbrand provides video instructions from its product page. Follow those instructions for the exact piece you choose; the steps below are general handling advice, not a substitute for dbrand’s model-specific directions.
- Clean the phone thoroughly, removing oil, lint, and dust before opening the adhesive piece.
- Choose either the full-coverage or back-only skin. If this is your first skin installation, the easier back-only option may be less demanding.
- Position the skin around the camera area and edges before pressing it down. Apply it gradually rather than laying the entire piece onto the phone at once.
- Smooth outward as you apply to limit bubbles and wrinkles, then press the edges and corners carefully.
- Install the camera pieces after the main skin is positioned correctly, keeping openings clear of lenses and sensors.
- Use gentle heat only if dbrand’s official instructions call for it; do not guess at temperatures or heating times.
- Let the adhesive settle before fitting a tight case, and check that the case does not catch the skin’s edges.
What to do if the fit goes wrong
- Dust under the film: Dust can remain visible as a bump. Avoid repeatedly lifting and repositioning the adhesive; each lift can weaken its hold.
- Camera-area misalignment: Stop before pressing the rest firmly into place and use dbrand’s video guidance. Do not cut or trim a misaligned piece yourself.
- Wrinkles or lifted corners: Press edges carefully as directed. A crease or edge that has been lifted repeatedly may not return to a perfect finish.
- A case catches an edge: Remove the case rather than forcing it over the skin. A tighter fit may continue to lift the film.
- Damaged or apparently miscut piece: Contact dbrand support or use its returns process instead of modifying the skin with scissors.
Removal and the “Made for Google” label
dbrand says removal is guaranteed to leave zero adhesive residue. That is the manufacturer’s guarantee, not an independent test. Residue-free removal does not mean every removal is damage-free: existing scratches, chipped coatings, dirt, age, heat, and installation conditions can affect what the phone looks like or how easily the skin lifts.

dbrand also says the Pixel skins passed compatibility tests administered by Google and labels them “Made for Google.” That does not mean Google makes, sells, or warrants the skin.
Who should choose Sketch 2D?
It makes sense if the illustrated look is the main attraction, you want to keep the phone slim, and you are comfortable applying adhesive film carefully. Treat it as a way to personalize the phone and add surface protection—not as insurance against drops.
Skip it if you need the accessory itself to absorb impacts, dislike precise installation, want the phone’s original finish visible, or cannot confirm that your case will clear the skin. A case prioritizes impact protection and adds bulk; a skin prioritizes a thin profile and a distinctive appearance.
