DesignEvo is positioned for quick, template-led logo creation on a phone, making it a plausible option for a starter logo or draft. Whether it is good enough for your brand depends on how much originality, cross-platform project access, particular export formats, and rights certainty you need. Its feature claims do not establish professional design quality or that a template-based mark will be distinctive and protectable.
What is DesignEvo?
DesignEvo, operated by PearlMountain Limited, offers a mobile logo maker and a web editor. DesignEvo describes the mobile app as including more than 3,500 templates, fonts, graphics, and customization features. The US Apple App Store listing describes more than 3,500 customizable templates and more than 100 fonts. These are publisher-provided figures, not independently audited counts or evidence of design quality.
The app is intended for template-led editing rather than a full professional branding process. The available evidence does not establish how well it performs in practice; no hands-on test was conducted for this article.

Important: app and web projects may not sync
DesignEvo’s help article says that the app and web versions are independent and their data do not synchronize. That article was last updated July 14, 2021, so verify current behavior in the app before relying on it.
Choose where you intend to finish the work, and keep exported files in a safe location. Do not assume a project will be available across platforms or restored after reinstalling the app.
How to make a logo on your phone
- Install the official app or open the mobile editor. Check the current app listing for compatibility and features, and verify whether your project will be accessible where you plan to work.
- Choose a template or start from scratch. A template may speed up a first draft; starting with your own concept gives you more control over the design.
- Replace the placeholder text. Enter the actual name and check spelling, capitalization, line breaks, and legibility.
- Customize the design. Adjust the available text, fonts, colors, graphics, and layout to suit your needs. Check the result at small and large sizes.
- Save and export a working version. Keep copies of the project and exported files, and do not assume app and web projects synchronize.
- Inspect the export outside the editor. Confirm that its format, resolution, transparency, and appearance suit the places you plan to use it.
Plans, exports, and cost
DesignEvo’s pricing page lists Free, Basic, and Plus. At the 2026 research snapshot, it listed Basic at $24.99 USD and Plus at $49.99 USD, each alongside a higher struck-through price. The page describes Basic and Plus as one-time purchases for one logo; prices and promotions may change. Check the live pricing page for current terms before purchasing.

What the export formats mean

DesignEvo’s FAQ says users own copyright for a customized logo purchased with Plus and may use the final logo commercially. It also says templates and elements are shared among users, lightly modified designs may not be exclusive, and non-exclusive logos cannot be copyrighted or trademarked. A paid package therefore does not by itself establish that a mark is unique or protectable.
The FAQ also says DesignEvo cannot guarantee copyright in individual icons sourced from The Noun Project and recommends checking that project’s terms. Review the terms for the specific plan and included assets before treating the logo as core brand property.

DesignEvo’s terms page identifies PearlMountain Limited as the operator and says it was last updated June 28, 2020. It says users retain ownership of submitted content but grants the company a perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to content users make publicly available, including for promotion and commercial exploitation. Because this page is old and the license concerns public content, review the current terms and sharing controls before uploading unpublished or sensitive brand concepts.
