Product materials also state antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties, impact and vandal resistance, easy cleaning and reduced maintenance. Those are manufacturer claims. The available material does not independently establish a particular hygiene result, service life or maintenance saving for every product, finish, fixing method or cleaning regime.

“Waterproof” should therefore be read in the context of the complete installed system. Joints, cut-outs, edges, fixings, adjacent walls, floors and plumbing penetrations can all affect how an installation behaves. Ask for the technical data and installation details for the exact partition, locker, vanity or panel configuration rather than assuming that a statement about the laminate covers every adjoining construction.

Durability, vandal resistance and lifecycle cost
DuraCube’s materials claim impact and vandal resistance and reduced maintenance. Those properties may be relevant in busy amenities, but performance depends on panel span, support, hardware, installation quality and the type of impact. Specify robust hinges, latches and fixing details for the expected use rather than treating the laminate claim as a guarantee against all damage.
The Architecture & Design feature contrasts the initial cost with 18mm particle board and states that particle board would need replacement within a few years. The available material does not include comparative test data or an independent lifecycle-cost study to substantiate that broad statement. Use it as DuraCube’s commercial position, not as a proven service-life forecast. Partition-system details and regulatory checks
The catalogue describes a floor-mount, ceiling-fixed partition system using DuraSafe 13mm compact laminate.
