Find Easter backgrounds and wallpaper through searchable collections on Unsplash, Pexels, and Pixabay. These collections include themes such as eggs, rabbits, spring flowers, pastel patterns, and religious imagery. They are useful places to browse, but not every result is necessarily free or available without an account: check the individual image page and its download options before choosing.
Choose a background that fits your screen or project
Start with the image’s orientation and composition. A vertical image generally suits a phone screen; a landscape image generally suits a desktop. If you want icons, a clock, or greeting text to remain readable, look for uncluttered space where those elements can sit without covering the subject.

There is no single pixel size established here for every phone, tablet, or computer. Check the image dimensions shown on its page, then use your device’s wallpaper preview or crop controls to see how it fits before saving it as wallpaper. For a card or invitation, consider whether the image leaves room for a message and whether the intended print layout crops any important details.
Compare download options and license terms
“Free download” does not mean public domain or unrestricted reuse. Platform terms differ, and the license for a selected image does not necessarily clear every right in a recognizable person, logo, brand, or other depicted subject. Read the current platform license and the individual image page, especially before commercial or public use.

Check the selected image’s page and download options. | Unsplash’s license allows images to be downloaded and used for commercial or non-commercial purposes without permission or required attribution. | The license prohibits selling images without significant modification and compiling images to replicate a similar or competing service. |
| Pexels | Review the individual photo page and available download options; the collection page alone does not establish the terms for every result. | The Pexels license allows free downloads and use, does not require attribution, and allows modification. | It prohibits selling unaltered copies, implying endorsement by people or brands shown, and redistributing media on stock-photo or wallpaper platforms. Download and set an Easter wallpaper
- Search a collection. Open an Easter wallpaper or background collection on Unsplash, Pexels, or Pixabay and search for a subject such as eggs, rabbits, flowers, or religious imagery.
- Open the individual image. Check whether it is marked as premium, what sizes are offered, and whether an account is needed for the download you want. On Pixabay, full-resolution photo and video downloads require registration.
- Check suitability and rights. Confirm the orientation and dimensions, inspect the crop, and review the image’s license terms for your planned use. For commercial or public reuse, also consider depicted people, logos, trademarks, and other third-party rights.
- Download and preview it on your device. Use the device’s wallpaper settings to position or crop the image. If icons or text obscure the main subject, adjust the crop or pick a less busy composition.
Using an image for a card or decoration
If you are making a personal Easter card or decoration, choose an image with space for your greeting and check how it will crop on the finished piece. Pexels lists postcards and invitations among its print-marketing examples, but the license still has restrictions, including on selling unaltered copies. For digital wallpaper, no paper or printing supplies are needed.
