Fans queued outside VC Ink Tattoo Gallery in Melbourne’s CBD on 17 February 2024 for pre-designed Taylor Swift-inspired tattoos priced at $150 each, according to PerthNow. The report tied the promotion to Swift’s Australian concert week, but does not establish that the queue formed specifically ahead of her second MCG show.
Where were fans getting the tattoos?
The parlour was VC Ink Tattoo Gallery in Melbourne’s central business district. PerthNow’s Zach Margolius reported on 17 February 2024 that fans queued outside the studio during the promotion.
The report did not give a queue count, the number of tattoos completed, or a sales total. It also does not establish the exact concert-show sequence associated with the queue, so the event is best described as happening during Swift’s Australian concert week rather than specifically before her second MCG show.

Could people book or walk in?
PerthNow reproduced a social post from the parlour saying appointments and walk-ins were open. The report also mentioned a free tattoo giveaway tied to social-media engagement. These are details of the 2024 promotion, not confirmation that the offer, walk-ins, or giveaway are available now.
What to know before choosing a tattoo
A tattoo is permanent body art, so a fan design deserves the same careful consideration as any other tattoo. PerthNow also attributed comments to Swift from a 2012 Taste of Country interview in which she said she did not think she could commit to something permanent. PerthNow reproduces the quotation but does not link to the original interview, so it should be treated as a statement reported secondhand rather than independently verified here.
