The Flight Plan Fabric Legend is a printable fabric-organization aid for Kimberly Einmo’s Flight Plan quilt. AllPeopleQuilt provides the legend as a download; the quilt pattern is a separate resource referenced in the digital December 2013 issue of American Patchwork & Quilting.

The legend is intended to help quilters keep a large group of fabrics in numerical order while working on the Flight Plan quilt. AllPeopleQuilt describes that purpose on its Flight Plan Fabric Legend page, dated September 19, 2013.

Where to get the legend and pattern
Download the printable legend from the AllPeopleQuilt page. The legend and the quilt pattern are distinct: that page points readers to the digital December 2013 issue of American Patchwork & Quilting for the pattern, rather than providing the pattern itself. The page does not establish whether that issue is currently available or what it costs.
What the page does not include
The legend page does not provide finished quilt dimensions, fabric quantities, or construction instructions. Consult the issue containing the pattern for those project details.

- Images are hand pressed into poly poplin fabric leaving vibrant colors that will not fade, crack or peel. A light interfacing is added to the back for stablity.
- The size selected will be the size of the image printed on the fabric.
- There is approx. 1/4" of white seam allowance all the way around the panel to allow room for sewing and trimming. That additional fabric is not factored into the dimensions/size of the panel.
- It is highly recommended that you wash your fabric projects with cool or luke warm water and tumble dry on low setting or hang to dry. Use a cotton fabric piece to lay over the material if ironing is needed.
