For a ready-to-share Happy Women’s Day image, start with the International Women’s Day (IWD) organization’s free social-media card library, which includes a card titled “Happy IWD.” If you would rather make your own greeting, its 2026 card templates let you add text, a logo, and an image. Check that you have permission to publish any photo or artwork you add.
Where to find a Happy Women’s Day image
The quickest option is the IWD organization’s ready-made card library. It says its social-media cards are free and includes “Happy IWD,” along with designs such as “Supporting IWD,” “We Love IWD,” and “I Love IWD.” Open a card and save the image to share it in a message, post, or digital card. The library also points to countdown assets for posts in the lead-up to March 8.
For a greeting with a personal touch, use the organization’s IWD 2026 card-creation page. It offers editable templates as well as an editable PowerPoint version. The page describes using a card on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and other social services.

Choose a card layout or customize a template
The dimensions below are the sizes listed for these IWD templates, not universal image-size requirements for the platforms named on the page.

To personalize a template, add a short greeting, your logo if appropriate, and an image you have the right to use. If you paint or draw your own artwork for the card, you can photograph or scan it for insertion; make sure any other images or design elements you include are also cleared for publication. The IWD page specifically advises users to use images they own or images that do not breach copyright.

Use the right wording for IWD 2026
The IWD organization’s 2026 card materials use #IWD2026 and #GiveToGain. Separately, the United Nations’ 2026 International Women’s Day theme is “Rights. Justice. Action. For all women and girls,” a wording also cited by UNESCO. These are different campaign framings: use the hashtags when following the IWD organization’s card guidance, and attribute the theme to the UN if you include it. If you need something to print rather than send, the IWD organization’s resource directory lists awareness, save-the-date, and pledge posters, as well as other event materials. It describes International Women’s Day as observed on March 8 and as a day to celebrate women’s social, economic, cultural, and political achievements while calling for accelerated gender equality.
