To create music samples with AI, generate an editable loop or a longer musical source, isolate the useful part, then trim and export it in the format your project needs. For original drum, bass, synth, or arrangement material, start with Beat Shaper or Songen; for chops from an audio source, use a stem separator such as Fadr or Moises.

How To Create A Sample Step By Step
- Decide what the sample must do. Write down its role, such as a two-bar drum loop, a bass phrase, a vocal texture, or a melodic chop. Note the tempo, key, length, and mood you want. These are your project requirements; the listed tools do not establish that every one can lock generation to a specified tempo or key.
- Choose the source route. For editable MIDI parts and loops, use Beat Shaper or Songen. Beat Shaper lists controls for genre, mood, energy, and syncopation, plus piano-roll editing. - Generate or upload the source. Create a loop in Beat Shaper or Songen, generate a longer musical idea in Suno or Musicful, or upload audio to Fadr or Moises for separation. - Keep only a usable musical phrase. Listen for a clean beginning and ending, unwanted vocal or instrument bleed, and a phrase that makes sense when repeated. A separated stem is still audio from its source, so listen for artifacts and confirm the result works in your project. If you need exact trimming, looping, or tempo alignment, do that in your audio editor or DAW; the listed facts do not establish those editing controls for every tool.
- Export and organize it. Choose a format your project accepts.
