Make the guide a single reference sheet with only the rules an AI creator needs repeatedly: logo files and spacing, color values, type choices, image direction, and two or three approved examples. Build the assets in ShipMyMark or Brandize, then arrange the final page in Affinity.

Set The One-Page Brief
- Write the audience sentence. State who will use the sheet, such as “An AI image creator producing square social posts for a single studio.” This keeps every rule tied to a real publishing task.
- Choose the page format. Pick one page size that matches where the guide will be viewed or shared. Leave enough margin for the logo, swatches, and examples to remain legible on a device screen.
- Limit the decisions. Reserve space for one logo treatment, one color system, one type system, one image direction, and a short do/don’t list. A one-page guide works when it answers repeat questions quickly.
Build The Brand Assets
Generate Or Organize The Logo
- In ShipMyMark, create the editable logo kit if you need a logo, SVG, PNG, favicon, colors, and a simple brand guide together.
- Place the primary logo at the top of the page. Add one approved alternate only if your publishing layout requires it.
- Write a plain usage rule beside the logo: minimum clear space, approved background, and one example of incorrect treatment. If a measurement or rule is not supplied by your chosen tool, set it yourself and apply it consistently across the page.
Set An Accessible Color Palette
- In Brandize, enter your seed color and generate an accessible palette.
- Assign each swatch a job: primary, accent, background, text, and optional alert. Label the job beside the color so an AI prompt or design handoff can refer to it unambiguously.
- Show the text color on the background it is allowed to use. Keep one high-contrast combination for small labels and captions.
- If you start in ShipMyMark, use its primary, accent, and background colors matched to the logo, then verify the combinations you plan to publish.
Define Type And Image Direction
- Choose one display style and one reading style that your team can reproduce. Record the font names, weight, case, and alignment you intend to use; verify availability in the apps and services where the guide will be applied.
- Write three image cues for AI work, such as “soft side light,” “quiet neutral backgrounds,” and “generous negative space.” Add three exclusions, such as “no neon gradients,” “no dense text overlays,” and “no distorted logos.” These are editorial rules, so adjust them to your brand.
- Add one approved example image and one rejected example. Caption each with the reason it belongs or fails, so a creator can evaluate a new generation quickly.
Assemble The Page In Affinity
- Open Affinity and create a single-page document with the margins you selected in the brief.
- Place the logo block first, then the color strip, type block, image cues, and examples. Use a consistent grid so each section can be scanned without explanation.
- Write rules as short commands: “Use the dark logo on light backgrounds” and “Keep the accent color to calls to action.” Avoid paragraphs that bury the decision.
- Zoom out until the page is roughly the size your team will view it. If a label cannot be read, shorten it or increase its size before adding decoration.
Run A One-Page Quality Check
- Logo: The approved file, clear-space rule, background rule, and one misuse example are visible.
- Color: Every swatch has a role, and small text is shown on an appropriate background.
- Type: Font names, weights, case, and alignment are written down rather than implied by the sample.
- AI direction: Prompts can use the image cues and exclusions without guessing the visual intent.
- Examples: At least one approved and one rejected example explain the rule in context.
- Maintenance: Add an owner and revision date so the sheet does not silently drift as assets change.
Handle Rights And Distribution
Brandize states that its $5 one-time purchase includes a full commercial license. ShipMyMark states that its $9 one-time purchase includes commercial use and has no subscription. Keep those terms with the project record, and check the vendors’ current terms before distributing client work or transferring assets. Affinity states that it is free for individuals; verify whether your team’s use fits that statement.
Publish The Guide Where Creators Need It
Give the finished page a clear filename such as Studio-Brand-Guide-v1 and place it beside the logo kit and prompt templates. When a new AI image is approved, compare it with the single page first; update the guide only when a decision is meant to become a repeatable rule.
