Remake a song with AI by separating the source into stems, replacing or transforming only the parts you are authorized to use, then checking each platform’s license before publishing. A rights-aware remake keeps the original melody and timing where permitted, documents voice consent, and labels AI involvement when a distributor requires it.
What A Rights-Aware AI Remake Needs
- Source permission: You need permission for the recording, composition, samples, and any uploaded vocals. A tool’s upload feature does not grant you rights to the song.

Step 1: Clear The Source And Voice
- Identify whether you own or have licensed the composition, master recording, samples, and lyrics.
- Get written consent from every vocalist whose identity or performance will be cloned, converted, or used as a reference. Record the permitted uses, territory, duration, and release channels.

Change Arrangement And Voice Together
Use Creatune’s Voice Cover or Style Cover path, or combine LALAL.AI stems with an authorized voice conversion in Applio. A practical brief is: “Preserve verse and chorus timing; replace the lead vocal with the authorized model; reduce competing harmony energy; leave the licensed drum and bass stems unchanged.” The exact result depends on the tool and model, so render a short section first.
Step 4: Process The Vocal Conservatively
- Set pitch or key controls only as far as needed to fit the instrumental. Save the original vocal and every intermediate export.
