Turn the memo into lyrics in passes: capture the recording, transcribe it, mark the lines that sound like you, shape those lines into sections, then check syllables and singability against the original audio. Use a tool with transcription or voice-take support for the first pass, and keep the memo beside the draft so an AI rewrite does not erase your phrasing.
1. Prepare A Voice Memo That Can Be Transcribed
- Record one idea at a time in a quiet room. Leave a short pause between verse, chorus, and bridge ideas so you can identify sections later.
- Speak or sing the exact words, including unfinished phrases. Add a spoken note when a sound is only a placeholder, such as “replace this image.”
- Save the original file before uploading it. Keep a second copy of any melody or performance you may need to compare during editing.

3. Transcribe Without Losing Your Voice

4. Turn The Transcript Into Singable Sections
- Highlight the memo’s strongest concrete images and the sentence that carries its emotional point.
- Choose one repeated line for the chorus. Ask the tool to propose alternatives while requiring that highlighted phrases remain unchanged.
- Place setup lines in the verse, the repeated emotional statement in the chorus, and a new perspective in the bridge. If your memo has no bridge idea, label that gap instead of letting a generator invent a plot detail.
- Read every line aloud at the memo’s pace. Remove filler words only when the rhythm still matches your delivery.
5. Fit Words To Cadence, Beat, And Rhyme

Prompt Maschine For Rhyme And Prompt Cleanup
Send the cleaned draft to Prompt Maschine for audio analysis, rhyme work, or rap-flow shaping. State the constraints explicitly: section order, approximate line length, rhyme type, and which lines are locked. 6. Finish And Export The Lyric Sheet
- Read the complete lyric without the audio and mark any line whose meaning depends on a melody the words no longer support.
- Sing the lyric over the original memo. Fix awkward consonant clusters, excessive syllables, and rhymes that force an unnatural accent.
- Keep a “memo transcript” version and a “finished lyric” version. This makes it possible to restore your original voice after later AI edits.
- Export in the format your collaborator needs. Clavet lists PDF, DOCX, and text export; SongIntent lists TXT export; other formats and limits depend on the selected tool’s plan.
