Prepare Your Logo
- Keep the original logo file available so you can make both outputs from the same source.
- Choose a version whose main mark remains recognizable when it is shown inside a round crop. If your logo includes a long wordmark, decide whether the symbol alone is the better social avatar.
- Have a copy ready before opening the tool. OhMyIcon states that every byte is generated client-side with the Canvas API and that no server is involved.
Make The Favicon Set
- Open OhMyIcon.
- Choose the Favicon from Image feature and upload your logo.
- Let the tool generate the full favicon set from that image.
- Save the generated favicon files in your website project, keeping the set together so you can add the files your site setup requests.
- Open the favicon in a browser tab after publishing and check that the mark is legible at the small size shown by the browser. If it is not, return to the source logo and simplify the artwork before generating the set again.
Make The Social Profile Icon
- In OhMyIcon, open Profile Photo Maker.
- Upload the same logo, or upload the simplified mark you selected for a round crop.
- Use the zoom control to set how much of the mark fills the circle.
- Use the offset control to center the visual weight; leave extra room where the platform’s circular mask may cover the edge.
- Export the round avatar PNG.
- Preview the PNG at the size used in your profile interface. Check the mark without relying on fine wordmark details, since the circular presentation favors a clear central shape.

Use the same logo colors and core mark in both files, while allowing the avatar crop to remove a wordmark that would become unreadable. Compare the favicon and avatar side by side before publishing so the identity still reads as one brand.
