Quilts & More Fall 2022 is a past issue featuring autumn quilts alongside smaller projects such as bags, pillows, a runner, wall quilts and a rice-filled heating pad. Its listed sale period ended October 21, 2022. The publisher’s feature page describes the projects and points readers to a digital version, but it does not establish whether print copies are currently in stock.

What was in the Fall 2022 issue?

The issue’s roster ranges beyond bed quilts to include home décor, accessories and skill-building projects. The following titles, designer credits and material descriptions come from the AllPeopleQuilt Fall 2022 feature page; they are publisher descriptions, not independent pattern tests.

Which patterns are available free on the feature page?

The page offers a few related free patterns as color options: a fall leaf pot holder to accompany Dancing Leaves, a welcoming baby quilt using precuts as an option for Dawn of Day, a spooky place mat related to Sign of the Season, and a Christmas greenery wall quilt as a color option for Periwinkle Patch. These are specifically identified free patterns; the page does not say that every project’s complete instructions are available online.

If you are looking for one design, search by its exact project name on the feature page. A short description or a color-option pattern is not a substitute for the full original instructions.

When was the issue on sale?

American Patchwork & Quilting Editors’ issue page says Fall 2022 was on sale from August 6 through October 21, 2022. That is a historical sales window, not a current availability notice. The 2022 media kit listed August 5 as the planned on-sale date and cautioned that its schedule could change; the issue-specific page gives the dates for this edition.

How can you find a copy now?

The publisher’s page directs readers to a digital version. It also appears in an Amazon listing for the magazine, but a listing alone does not confirm current stock, condition, format, or that all pattern pages and templates are included.

  • Quilts & More Fall 2019 Better Homes & Gardens Pillows Bags
  • Quilts & More Magazine Fall 2019

Before choosing a copy, check these details in the current listing:

  • Format: confirm whether it is print or digital.
  • Completeness: for print, ask whether all pattern pages, inserts and templates are present; for digital, check what the edition includes.
  • Condition: inspect photos and the seller’s description for used copies.
  • Current availability and price: confirm them at the point of purchase, since a past listing does not prove present stock.

The fabric collections named in the feature descriptions may help identify the look of a project, but the page does not establish whether those collections are still sold. Check current retail availability rather than assuming a named fabric can still be found.

What does the publisher say about pattern editing?

American Patchwork & Quilting Editors describe their process on the issue page: “Our staff has over 70 years of quilting experience, and works with skilled editors, copy editors, quilt testers, and technical editors to ensure each pattern and article is accurate and up-to-date.” This is the publisher’s description of its own editorial process, not an independent audit.
