A 1972 Tudor in Los Angeles’s Brentwood neighborhood was listed for $8 million in October 2026 after a sweeping renovation credited to designer Jordan Bakva. The Realtor.com feature describes extensive changes to the layout, finishes, kitchen, bathrooms and pool area; it reports an asking price, not a completed sale.
What changed in the Brentwood Tudor
The home was built in 1972 and is described as having 5,850 square feet of interior space and six bedrooms. Realtor.com’s October 2, 2026 feature credits Jordan Bakva with the design and says the renovation included significant layout changes, new flooring, millwork, lighting and finishes, as well as a fully renovated kitchen and bathrooms.
Co-listing agent Claire O’Connor characterized the work this way: “Every finish has been replaced, so it is fully reimagined.” The account emphasizes a blend of custom and handcrafted details with vintage pieces, rather than a single uniform modern style.
Interior details, from the entry to the kitchen
Foyer and formal dining room
The feature describes a dramatic foyer and a formal dining room with custom millwork and coffered ceilings. European white oak floors, limewashed walls and vintage Italian lighting are among the reported finishes. Built-in window seating adds another tailored detail.

Renovated kitchen
The chef’s kitchen is reported to include honed Breccia Capraia marble and a La Cornue range; the feature does not identify the range’s model. A concealed door connects it to a back catering kitchen. The agent describes the feature as “a secret door that opens to a butler’s pantry.”
Bathrooms and finish palette
The bathrooms were renovated, with the primary bathroom featuring a soaking tub set within an oversized shower. Elsewhere, the reported materials include handcrafted Zellige tile and reclaimed Spanish tile. These descriptions reflect the Realtor.com feature, not an independent inspection of the property.
