Monica Solorio-Snow’s sewing projects range from quilts and purses to totes, an organizer and a casserole carrier. The AllPeopleQuilt collection includes six projects, with some credited as her designs and others described as inspired by them. Start with the finished item you want, then use its own pattern page for the materials, measurements and instructions.
What projects are in the collection?
AllPeopleQuilt’s collection, published June 14, 2013, brings together six projects. Its descriptions distinguish Solorio-Snow designs from projects inspired by her, so the list below preserves that distinction rather than attributing every pattern to her as its designer. See the collection page for the original project descriptions.

How to choose a project
Choose by what you want to make and how you plan to use it. A purse, a quilt and a casserole carrier involve different shapes and construction, so one project’s supply list or skill expectations cannot be assumed to apply to another.
- Open the individual pattern and look for any stated skill guidance; the collection does not provide a shared difficulty scale.
- Check its fabric quantities, cutting measurements and other supplies before buying or cutting.
- Confirm whether the pattern is free or downloadable as a paid pattern, and read the individual pattern’s use terms before sharing or using it.
What materials and instructions do the projects use?
Sewing Station Caddy
For a detailed example beyond the six-item collection, AllPeopleQuilt’s Sewing Station Caddy instructions credit Monica Solorio-Snow as designer. The finished caddy is 15½ inches square. Its listed materials include multicolor print fabric, gray linen and batting; the construction forms a quilted foundation and folded pocket units, then binds the raw edges. Follow that project page for its exact cutting and assembly instructions.
#1 Best Overall
Super Zig
Lecien hosts a Super Zig pattern credited to Solorio-Snow. It specifies color prints, background fabric, batting and backing, along with cutting and quilt-assembly directions. The pattern states, “All seams are ¼”.” That seam allowance belongs to Super Zig’s instructions; do not assume it applies to the other projects.
For any project involving measured cutting, use the pattern’s own dimensions and quantities. A rotary cutter, self-healing mat and quilting ruler may be useful for cutting, and batting is relevant where the pattern calls for it, but none should be treated as a universal requirement.
