The fixed-date observance is 19 February, according to the Department of Tourism, Government of Maharashtra. Its page states that Shivaji Maharaj was born on 19 February 1630 at Shivneri Fort; this is the date given by that tourism source.

A separate calendar observance is calculated by lunar tithi and may fall on a different civil date. For 2027, Drik Panchang lists 19 February for the fixed-date observance and 25 March for its tithi-based observance. The tithi date varies by year, so check the relevant year’s calendar and identify which convention a date refers to.
Why are there two Shiv Jayanti dates?
The dates follow different conventions rather than representing a simple contradiction: one is the fixed civil date of 19 February, while the other follows a lunar tithi. Since a lunar-calendar observance can map to different Gregorian dates in different years, a date announcement is clearest when it names the convention and year.
