It offers a straightforward web workflow, creative image generation, editing tools, and more control than a typical chatbot. It is not a universal Midjourney replacement, though: choose Ideogram for readable text, Adobe Firefly for Adobe-centered commercial workflows, or Stable Diffusion 3.5 locally when unlimited generation and control matter more than convenience.

Adobe Firefly: best for Adobe users and commercially cautious workflows
Firefly makes the most sense for artists, agencies, marketers, and businesses already working in Photoshop or Creative Cloud. Its value is not simply the generated image; it is the connection between generation, editing, compositing, and an established design workflow.
Firefly is also a reasonable choice when training-data and intellectual-property policies are a major consideration. That does not make every generated image automatically safe for every commercial purpose. Adobe’s claims about commercially safer training data, plan coverage, and any indemnification are specific to its policies and products. Free quotas, image features, regional availability, and model access vary. Do not transfer limits or rights from a developer API to a consumer chatbot. API billing is a separate product decision. The same caution applies to Google’s developer image models: Google’s pricing page lists API prices and warns of scheduled model changes, including the announced shutdown of Imagen 4 models on August 17, 2026, with migration guidance toward Gemini 2.5 Flash Image. FLUX and APIs: best for developers
FLUX is most relevant when you need an API, batch production, application integration, or model flexibility rather than a simple consumer website. The experience and rights depend on where you access it: an official service, an API, a third-party host, or a local installation may have different pricing, privacy, model versions, and commercial terms.
The same distinction applies to Stability AI. Its API page currently describes credit-based usage, with one credit equal to $0.01. The listed prices include Stable Image Core at three credits, Stable Diffusion 3.5 Large at 6.5 credits, Stable Image Ultra at eight credits, plus additional charges for some editing operations. How to get better results than a one-line prompt
The same prompt will not perform identically across models, so treat this as a starting structure rather than a universal formula:
