Black Friday 2025 was November 28, 2025, so this is an archived buying guide—not a record of verified sale prices. For a beginner making small projects, consider the enclosed Falcon A1 10W; for a larger work area and more cutting capacity, compare the Falcon2 Pro 22W and 40W. Choose the A1 Pro 20W for a desktop upgrade with optional infrared marking, or the Falcon2 Pro 60W only if you will use its additional cutting capacity.
Do not choose by wattage or discount banner alone. Work area, materials, enclosure, ventilation, accessories, software, and the complete delivered cost all matter.

Which Falcon should you buy?
For beginner crafts and small projects
The Falcon A1 10W is a reasonable starting point if you value an enclosed, camera-assisted workflow and mostly engrave or cut small projects. Creality advertises up to 600 mm/s motion speed and a Class 1 enclosure for the A1; these are manufacturer claims, not a promise of cutting speed or a guarantee that every material is safe. Cutting performance depends on the material, focus, air assist, desired edge quality, and number of passes.
For a stronger desktop machine
The Falcon A1 Pro 20W offers more blue-diode cutting headroom than the 10W A1. Its optional 2W infrared module can add marking options for some metals and plastics, but it is separate from the machine unless the selected package says otherwise. Check the A1 Pro listing and package contents before buying. The IR module does not turn the machine into a fiber laser.
For a larger work area or small-business cutting
Compare the Falcon2 Pro 22W and 40W based on your materials, project size, order volume, and the actual price gap. The 22W can suit moderate workloads where cost matters; the 40W is a stronger candidate for regular cutting and production-oriented work. Higher optical power is most useful for cutting, not necessarily for shallow engraving.
For maximum diode cutting capacity
Consider the Falcon2 Pro 60W only if your regular work benefits from its additional capacity and your workspace, budget, ventilation plan, and maintenance routine can support it. Creality’s listing includes headline cutting claims, such as up to 22 mm basswood and 30 mm black acrylic, and a stainless-steel capability claim. These are manufacturer figures under particular conditions, not guaranteed results for every material or setup.
Falcon A1 versus Falcon2 Pro
| Consideration | Falcon A1 family | Falcon2 Pro family |
|---|---|---|
| Typical fit | Beginners and home users prioritizing a compact workflow | Larger projects and more demanding cutting |
| Power options | A1 10W; A1 Pro 20W blue diode | 22W, 40W, and 60W variants |
| Positioning | Camera-assisted features advertised | Camera positioning advertised; verify exact configuration |
| Work area | More compact; check the usable area for the selected model | Nominally around 400 × 400 mm; listings vary by configuration |
| Main trade-off | Less capacity for large or thick work | More space and cutting capacity, with higher cost and setup demands |
The Falcon2 Pro listing describes an approximately 400 × 400 mm work area, integrated air assist, camera positioning, and a 1.6W fine-detail module on the 40W and 60W versions. Check the exact variant listing to confirm what is included. Advertised motion speed is not the same as useful cutting speed.

Falcon2 and Falcon2 Pro are not interchangeable
Creality’s Wiki provides separate documentation for Falcon2 and Falcon2 Pro. Before buying, verify whether the specific machine is enclosed, which laser module it has, its actual work area, whether air assist and a camera are included, and whether the listing is for a base machine or bundle. Also confirm rotary compatibility and any fine-detail module inclusions.
Understanding laser power and performance
- Optical power: Laser output at the work surface; the most relevant power figure for comparing diode cutting and engraving.
- Maximum machine or electrical power: Power consumed or supported by the machine; it is not the same as optical output.
- Module power: Output of a particular laser module. A machine with multiple modules can have different capabilities by mode.
The Falcon2 Pro listing separates maximum machine power from optical power. Compare the optical-power figure and confirm the selected variant. A 60W model is not automatically a fixed multiple faster than a 22W model: material, focus, air assist, motion limits, edge quality, and pass count all affect results.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteWork area, footprint, and rotary compatibility
The Falcon2 Pro listing gives approximate machine dimensions of 664 × 570 × 328.4 mm, while listed work areas include 400 × 415 mm for one configuration and 400 × 400 mm for others. Check the selected model rather than assuming one work area applies to every variant.
Allow space for the lid, exhaust hose, cables, loading material, maintenance, and any air pump or purifier. Rotary attachments can reduce the usable flat area, affect focal height, require risers, and limit whether the lid closes. Check model compatibility, maximum diameter and length, and camera workflow before buying. Creality lists model-specific equipment in its rotary category and accessories category.
Materials and realistic capabilities
Wood, paper, leather, bamboo, and cardboard
These are common materials for blue-diode machines, but results vary with density, glue, coating, moisture, flatness, and thickness. Plywood can be particularly inconsistent because its core and adhesives affect cutting and smoke. Test the actual stock you plan to use.

Acrylic and metal
Blue diode lasers generally struggle with clear acrylic; dark acrylic is more likely to absorb blue light, but results still depend on formulation and thickness. A blue diode can mark some coated or anodized metals by changing the coating, which is different from engraving bare metal. The optional A1 Pro IR module can expand marking options for some metals and plastics, but is not a substitute for a fiber laser.

Plastics and unknown materials
Do not assume a material is safe because its label says “plastic,” “rubber,” or “leather.” PVC, vinyl, chlorine-containing plastics, unknown composites, and uncertain coatings can release hazardous fumes and damage equipment. Confirm the material composition and consult the current machine manual. Manufacturer compatibility lists are not universal safety lists.
Safety, enclosure, and smoke management
Creality describes the A1 and A1 Pro as enclosed Class 1 designs and advertises features including lid-opening shutdown, flame detection, tilt or drop emergency stop, airflow monitoring, and smoke management. Treat these as manufacturer claims, not an independent guarantee. An enclosure does not make unsuitable materials safe, eliminate fire risk, or justify unattended operation.
Setup checklist
- Place the machine on a stable, nonflammable surface with room for the lid and maintenance.
- Read the manual for the exact model and wattage before use.
- Check that interlocks, emergency stops, flame detection, and airflow warnings work as described.
- Plan suitable exhaust or filtration for the material and room; an internal filter does not automatically eliminate the need for ventilation.
- Keep a suitable fire extinguisher nearby and supervise every job.
- Use only known materials whose composition you have verified; do not process PVC, vinyl, or unknown plastics.
- Inspect the lens, air path, belts, rails, and exhaust path regularly.
- Run a small test frame or test cut before committing an expensive blank.
Air assist directs airflow at the cutting zone to move smoke away, reduce soot and scorching, support cleaner cuts, and limit lens contamination. It does not replace ventilation or supervision. Compare the actual included pump, tubing, purifier, exhaust connections, and filter replacement needs rather than relying on marketing labels.
Camera positioning and software
A camera can help preview artwork, place designs, and repeat batches, but it does not guarantee perfect alignment. Calibration, lens distortion, material height, reflectivity, and irregular surfaces can affect positioning. Calibrate according to the machine and software instructions, then run a test frame.

The available official product pages do not establish exact US Black Friday 2025 transaction prices. Do not treat current store prices or crossed-out list prices as proof of what a machine cost on November 28, 2025. Without historical retailer evidence, no exact 2025 sale price or lowest-ever claim can be responsibly stated.
To assess an archived offer, record:
- Exact model, optical wattage, and bundle.
- Seller and country.
- List price, sale price, coupon requirements, shipping, and tax.
- Included accessories and whether they fit the machine.
- Sale dates, return window, warranty, and return-shipping responsibility.
- Evidence that the offer beat the preceding 30-day price.
Use a buy-below decision rather than an invented historical price: favor an A1 only if its work area and power suit your projects; compare the 22W and 40W Pro by the price gap and workload; include any separate IR module, rotary, ventilation equipment, and software you need; and require a clear production reason before paying a premium for 60W. Compare total delivered cost, not the banner discount.
Warranty, returns, and support

- Consider a CO2 laser if transparent acrylic and broader nonmetal cutting are central requirements.
- Consider a fiber or comparable professional marking system for serious bare-metal production work.
- Consider another professional system if production speed, repeatability, or material range outweighs desktop convenience.
The optional A1 Pro IR module expands marking options, but does not replace a dedicated fiber system. A higher-power blue diode increases cutting capacity on suitable materials; it does not make a machine a universal metal engraver.
