The right tattoo-stencil printer depends on the exact transfer paper it supports, its printable format, and whether it is available in your region. How to choose a tattoo-stencil printer
- Check paper compatibility first. Find the exact model’s instructions and confirm the paper brand and construction it supports. Phomemo explicitly restricts the M08F Plus to its own tattoo stencil paper; do not extend that restriction or other compatibility claims to different models without evidence.
- Match the printable format to your designs. Check the model’s stated paper sizes and effective print area. If you need larger designs, verify whether the supported workflow can split artwork across sheets.
- Confirm how you will connect and print. Phomemo describes PC/USB and mobile-app/Bluetooth setup for the M08F. For any model, check current software, drivers, device support, and connection requirements before purchase.
- Check local availability and supplies. Confirm that the exact model, compatible paper, and replacement supplies are available in your region. Do not assume a model shown in a manufacturer’s documentation is currently sold new where you live.

Is 300 dpi better than 203 dpi for tattoo stencils?

Do these printers apply stencils to skin?
No. They print onto transfer media. Follow suitable instructions for skin preparation and stencil transfer separately.
