ViewSonic announced the ColorPro VP2776T-4K on September 12, 2024. It is a 27-inch 4K IPS monitor built for color-focused work, with an integrated Thunderbolt 4 dock that can deliver up to 100W, provide Ethernet and USB connectivity, and link compatible displays. ViewSonic also claims Pantone validation, HDR400, 98% DCI-P3, 100% sRGB and Delta E below 2. Those are manufacturer claims rather than independent test results.
What ViewSonic announced
ViewSonic described the VP2776T-4K as its first Thunderbolt 4 ColorPro monitor and positioned it for creative professionals. The announcement is a 2024 launch, not a new 2026 product announcement.
The central idea is to combine a color-oriented 4K display with a one-cable workstation connection. A compatible laptop can send video, receive power and use the monitor’s connected peripherals through the Thunderbolt dock, reducing the number of cables required at the desk.

What the integrated Thunderbolt 4 dock adds
One connection for a laptop
When the host computer supports the required Thunderbolt functions, the monitor can carry display data while supplying power and exposing attached peripherals. This can replace a separate dock for some desks, but it does not guarantee that every USB-C laptop will support the same functions.

Networking and USB expansion
ViewSonic promotes an RJ45 Ethernet port and a USB hub. A laptop connected through the dock can therefore use wired networking and USB accessories connected at the monitor, subject to the host’s drivers, permissions and the monitor’s stated port limits.
Multiple displays
The company also promotes daisy-chaining two 4K displays over Thunderbolt 4. Treat that as a supported-use claim, not a universal promise: the computer must provide the necessary Thunderbolt bandwidth and display-output support, and the second monitor, cable and operating system must cooperate with the chosen arrangement.
Compatibility checks before buying
ViewSonic cautions that Thunderbolt and USB-C behavior depends on the connected device’s own port specifications. Check these items against the exact laptop or desktop model:

- Video output: confirm that the port can send display signals, not merely data or charging.
- Thunderbolt generation and certification: verify genuine Thunderbolt 4 support when relying on the advertised dock and daisy-chain features.
- Charging: check the computer’s accepted USB-C power range and whether 100W is sufficient for its workload.
- Operating-system support: confirm support for the intended multi-monitor layout, Ethernet and USB peripherals.
- Cables and adapters: use cables rated for the required Thunderbolt speed and length; adapters can reduce available functions.
- Desktop graphics output: for a desktop PC, verify that the motherboard or graphics card can provide the required display path.
A USB-C-shaped connector alone is not enough evidence that all of these features will work.
Color claims, Pantone validation and calibration
The launch materials cite 98% DCI-P3, 100% sRGB, HDR400 and Delta E below 2. The Europe product information additionally describes Pantone Validation and Colorbration+ synchronization and calibration software. These statements establish what ViewSonic advertises; the available material does not provide independent measurements of gamut, uniformity, brightness or Delta E.
For color-critical work, plan a workflow rather than relying only on the label. ViewSonic identifies support for the ColorPro Wheel and several colorimeter families:

Software versions and exact device compatibility can change, so confirm the current Colorbration+ documentation before purchasing a calibrator. A colorimeter is useful for demanding production work but is not required for ordinary office or general viewing.
