The brand’s clearest named paint companion is Cocoon SW 6173, a warm neutral that gives Celery a calm, grounded setting. What Celery SW 6421 looks like

Ways to use the two colors

- One-color architecture: If you prefer a quieter scheme, use Celery alone and introduce Cocoon through furnishings, adjacent rooms or smaller painted elements rather than forcing a two-tone wall treatment.
The practical choice is to decide which surface should carry visual attention. Large walls and cabinet runs make a color feel more immersive; a smaller area gives you the same hue with less commitment.
Warm neutrals beyond Cocoon
The guidance refers to warm neutrals as a category, with Cocoon as the named example. That leaves room to test other warm-leaning neutrals from your available paint collection, provided you evaluate them against the actual Celery sample instead of assuming every beige, tan or greige will behave the same way.
Look for a neutral that supports the room’s existing fixed finishes: flooring, stone, tile, upholstery and wood. A neutral that appears balanced on a display card may look noticeably pink, gray, yellow or brown beside Celery. This distinction is useful when planning a room. A wood finish contributes grain, variation and texture as well as color, so it does not behave like a flat painted wall. If your room already has wood flooring, a dining table or open shelving, compare the actual finish with Celery and Cocoon rather than selecting a paint color in isolation. Ten colors in the forecast receive the Continuity Colors designation. The named examples include Celery, White Duck, Dutch Tile Blue and Clove. Their inclusion can help you explore a broader palette, but appearing in the same forecast does not establish that Sherwin-Williams specifically recommends each one as a match for Celery.
If you test another Rewild hue, label the result accurately: it is an exploratory combination informed by the forecast, not an official Celery pairing unless Sherwin-Williams says so. This approach lets you use the forecast creatively without turning a flexible collection into a rigid recipe.

Bedroom
A restrained Celery-and-Cocoon scheme can keep the background gentle while allowing bedding, wood and artwork to provide variation. Sample the colors under the bedroom’s evening lighting; artificial bulbs can change the balance between the green’s yellow undertone and the neutral.

- Identify the dominant surface. Decide whether Celery will cover walls, cabinets, millwork or a smaller accent. The larger the surface, the more important it is to test the complete scheme.
- Start with the named companion. Obtain a Celery SW 6421 sample and a Cocoon SW 6173 sample. Compare them beside the room’s permanent finishes.
- Choose the desired effect. Keep Cocoon or another warm neutral dominant for a quiet, grounded result. Add a deeper accent only if you want more contrast and character.
- Account for materials. Place wood, stone, tile, metal and upholstery samples next to the paints. If you are considering Pickled Oak MW 260, compare the actual finish rather than relying on a digital image.
- Test any exploratory forecast color separately. If you want to investigate White Duck, Dutch Tile Blue, Clove or another Rewild hue, treat it as an experiment and keep it on a movable sample until the relationship is clear.

The most dependable starting palette is therefore Celery SW 6421 with Cocoon SW 6173, adjusted to the room’s proportions and finishes. Use wood such as Pickled Oak where it suits the space, and treat deeper or broader Rewild explorations as deliberate experiments rather than prescribed formulas.
