Indonesia’s 79th Independence Day fell on 17 August 2024, under the theme “Nusantara Baru, Indonesia Maju” (“New Archipelago, Advanced Indonesia”). If you are looking for a vector, logo, poster, banner or Twibbon for that anniversary, treat marketplace results as third-party artwork unless you can verify their official provenance and reuse terms.
What the 79th Independence Day design represents
The 79th anniversary was observed on 17 August 2024. BPS-Statistics Indonesia’s Pati Regency office recorded the anniversary on that date, and BAPETEN also documented the ceremony. The national theme was “Nusantara Baru, Indonesia Maju”; a government English-language rendering is “New Archipelago, Advanced Indonesia.”
A design-industry account published by Grafis Masa Kini on 25 June 2024 reports that the visual identity was selected through a process involving the Ministry of State Secretariat, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, and ADGI (the Indonesian Graphic Designers Association). It credits Inggrid Wenas of Ideologie Design & Branding Studio Surabaya as the creator. This is reported attribution from that publication, distinct from the independently documented event date and theme.

Where to look for a vector or other artwork
Search terms appearing in listings include “79th Indonesia independence day vector,” “79th Indonesian Independence logo,” “HUT RI 79,” and “Twibbon 17 August 2024.” Search results and stock listings include vectors, greeting graphics, posters, banners and Twibbon templates. Their presence does not establish that a file is the official visual identity or that its license permits your intended use.
The available sources do not establish a current authoritative government download page for the official identity, its downloadable file formats, or terms for reuse. A search result should therefore be a starting point for verification, not proof of official status.
How to assess a candidate file
| Check | What to verify |
|---|---|
| Provenance | Look for an identifiable government or ADGI source for an official identity. A third-party stock or template listing is not official evidence. |
| Rights | Read the license attached to the specific file. Confirm whether it covers your intended personal, organizational or commercial use, and whether edits or derivatives are allowed. |
| Format and editability | Check the individual listing for the actual file type and whether its contents can be edited. The sources do not establish the official identity’s formats. |
| Output | Match the artwork and dimensions to its destination: a digital post or Twibbon has different requirements from a printed poster or banner. |
Using a historical listing responsibly
A historical Google Play listing for “Hari Kemerdekaan Indonesia” advertised flag images, Twibbon frames and greetings for 17 August 2024, and showed an update date of 12 August 2024. That dated listing is not a recommendation of a currently available app, nor does it establish that its assets are official or reusable elsewhere. Check the current listing and the rights information for any asset before relying on it.
