Short answer: Venice AI and Grok Imagine are the clearest hosted options, although they have different moderation rules. Civitai supports mature fictional AI content within platform restrictions. ComfyUI, InvokeAI, Fooocus, and Stable Diffusion WebUI Forge run locally and give you control over model selection, but they do not guarantee NSFW output themselves.
“Allow NSFW” should not be read as “anything goes.” Use adult fictional subjects or consenting adults only, and check current provider policies, model licenses, and local law before generating or sharing an image.
Whether an AI art tool allows NSFW images depends on more than a marketing label. Some services explicitly offer adult-content generation, while others support mature fictional art under strict rules. Local interfaces such as ComfyUI and InvokeAI do not promise NSFW output at all; they let you choose compatible models and run them on your own hardware.

What “allows NSFW images” means here
“NSFW” is not a universal technical or legal category. In this guide, it means that the service or its supported ecosystem permits at least some mature or sexually suggestive fictional imagery. It does not mean that every explicit prompt will work, that moderation is absent, or that the tool permits illegal or non-consensual content.
Use adult fictional subjects or consenting adults only. Do not create sexual content involving minors or age-ambiguous characters, non-consensual intimate imagery, or sexualized images of identifiable people without their consent. Check the provider’s current rules, your local law, and the license for every model, LoRA, checkpoint, reference image, and workflow you use.
1. Venice AI: the clearest hosted adult-content option
Venice AI is the strongest fit if you want a browser-based service that explicitly presents itself as uncensored. Its Venice AI image generator is designed for hosted image creation and exposes controls that experienced image-generation users will recognize, including negative prompts, aspect ratio, watermark handling, steps, adherence, high-resolution generation, and seed control.
Venice describes its free tier as including 15 image prompts per day, with higher limits on paid tiers. Quotas, plan names, pricing, and access can change, so check the current service page before subscribing. The API also includes a safe_mode parameter that blurs adult content when enabled. That is a useful distinction: adult-content handling is an explicit setting, not merely an assumption based on user reports.
Venice is a good choice when you want conventional prompt controls without installing models or managing a local GPU. The trade-off is that it is hosted: review the current privacy, retention, and acceptable-use terms before uploading personal photographs, sensitive reference material, or anything involving another person’s likeness.
Choose Venice if: you want the most direct hosted adult-image workflow and do not want to configure local models.
Do not interpret “uncensored” as: permission to create illegal, exploitative, non-consensual, or minor-related material.

Grok Imagine supports both image and video generation. Its official FAQ refers to an NSFW setting, making it a current hosted option for adult-oriented generation. However, calling it fully unrestricted would be inaccurate.

xAI states that enabling NSFW does not turn off moderation. Content involving child sexual abuse, sexual content involving minors, and non-consensual intimate imagery remains prohibited and cannot be enabled through a setting. Availability, generation limits, regional access, and moderation behavior may also change over time.
Generated images and videos carry a Grok watermark. The service’s FAQ says users may not remove or obscure that provenance signal. This matters if you are creating work for a portfolio, social platform, or commercial project where visible platform branding affects presentation.
Choose Grok Imagine if: you want a hosted image-and-video tool with an explicit NSFW control and accept continuing platform moderation and watermark requirements.
Do not assume: that an adult setting permits sexualized depictions of real people or that every explicit prompt will be accepted.
3. Civitai: a mature-content model ecosystem, not just a generator
Civitai is better understood as an AI-model and content platform than as a single image generator. Its value is the large ecosystem of checkpoints, LoRAs, model pages, example images, metadata, and community workflows. For experienced users, it can be a starting point for finding models intended for particular art styles or mature fictional content.
Civitai’s compliance rules provide important boundaries. Users uploading mature content must be at least 18. Mature or sexually suggestive uploads need sufficient generation metadata, and the platform’s stated rules prohibit content containing real people and require the content to have been created with AI rather than being real photography. Those requirements make Civitai a fit for mature fictional AI art, not a general-purpose venue for real-person sexual imagery.
Model licensing is a separate issue from Civitai’s platform rules. A checkpoint may restrict commercial use, prohibit certain derivatives, or impose conditions on redistribution. Read the individual model license before using a download in paid work, a public gallery, or a workflow that includes someone else’s images.

4. ComfyUI: maximum local workflow control
ComfyUI is a modular visual node-graph interface and image-generation engine. It runs locally on Windows, Linux, and macOS across supported hardware configurations. You build a workflow by connecting nodes for loading models, encoding prompts, sampling, applying LoRAs or ControlNets, processing images, and saving results.
ComfyUI is not an “uncensored service.” Its relevance to NSFW generation is local control: you select the checkpoint, LoRA, workflow, and safety configuration. Whether a particular adult-art model works is determined by those components, not by a blanket adult-content promise from ComfyUI.
This flexibility is especially useful for advanced users who need repeatable seeds, batch generation, pose or composition control, image-to-image work, inpainting, and custom pipelines. ComfyUI can also preserve workflow and seed information in generated PNG metadata, which helps you reproduce a successful result later. Be aware that metadata can reveal prompts, model names, and workflow details when an image is shared.
ComfyUI has a steeper learning curve than a conventional chat-style generator. You also need to source models carefully, confirm their licenses, manage large downloads, and troubleshoot incompatible nodes or insufficient memory.
Choose ComfyUI if: you want the greatest control over local checkpoints, LoRAs, ControlNets, batches, and reproducible workflows.
5. InvokeAI: a polished local and private application
InvokeAI is a free, open-source image-generation engine released under the Apache 2.0 license. It is designed as a complete creative application rather than a bare model runner and supports models including Flux, SDXL, and Stable Diffusion 1.5.
InvokeAI’s local or self-hosted architecture is attractive if you want prompts, source images, and creations to remain on your own hardware. That can reduce the need to upload sensitive material to a hosted service, but “local” does not mean automatically legal, anonymous, or consequence-free. You remain responsible for the content, source-image rights, likeness rights, model licenses, and any backups or cloud folders connected to the computer.
InvokeAI also documents that model-level filters can operate independently of Invoke’s own NSFW checker. In practice, this means that changing an application setting may not change how a particular checkpoint behaves. Treat the model card and license as part of the tool, not as optional reading.
Compared with ComfyUI, InvokeAI is generally the more approachable choice for users who want a cohesive creative workspace instead of a highly technical node graph. It still requires installation, model management, and hardware capable of running the selected models.

Choose InvokeAI if: you want local privacy and model control in a more conventional creative application.

6. Fooocus: the simplest offline starting point
Fooocus is offline, open-source, free image-generation software built around the Stable Diffusion XL architecture. It supports text-to-image generation, image prompts, variations, upscaling, inpainting, outpainting, and SDXL models obtained from sources such as Civitai.
Fooocus is a reasonable option for beginners who want local generation without learning a node-based interface. Its adult-generation capability comes from the compatible model you install and the fact that the workflow runs offline; Fooocus itself is not an officially NSFW-hosted product.
The project is currently described as being in limited long-term support focused on bug fixes. That does not make it unusable, but it does mean users should not expect the same pace of feature development as an actively expanding hosted service. Download it only from the official Fooocus repository. The maintainers have warned about fraudulent lookalike websites.
Choose Fooocus if: you are new to local AI art and want a relatively simple offline interface with SDXL support.

Stable Diffusion WebUI Forge is a local platform built on the Stable Diffusion WebUI ecosystem. Its stated goals include improving development, resource management, and inference speed. The underlying WebUI environment is known for features such as text-to-image, image-to-image, inpainting, outpainting, extensions, and locally installed checkpoints.
Forge is a practical choice for users who want the classic Stable Diffusion interface and its extensive extension ecosystem while benefiting from a more performance-oriented implementation. It can be especially appealing if you already understand the WebUI workflow or want access to tools that are less central to simplified applications.
As with ComfyUI, InvokeAI, and Fooocus, Forge does not guarantee NSFW output. Its behavior depends on the checkpoints, LoRAs, extensions, safety settings, and prompts installed by the user. Model licenses and local law still apply, and downloading an unofficial build creates avoidable security risks.
Choose Forge if: you want local checkpoint control, a familiar Stable Diffusion workflow, and broad extension support.

What you need for local NSFW image generation
Hosted Venice and Grok do not require you to buy a graphics card. Local tools do. The exact requirement depends on the model, resolution, quantization, batch size, and workflow, so avoid treating one hardware specification as a guarantee.
- A supported computer: check the current installation requirements for the interface and model you plan to use.
- A capable GPU: a card such as an RTX 4060 graphics card for local AI art is one option to compare for a personal setup, but performance varies by model and configuration.
- Fast storage: several checkpoints, LoRAs, and generated-image archives can consume substantial space. An NVMe SSD for AI checkpoints can make model loading and file management more practical than relying on a nearly full system drive.
- Official software sources: use the project repository or documentation, not search-advertised installers or lookalike download pages.
- Model licenses: confirm whether the checkpoint permits your intended personal, public, or commercial use.
- Backup and metadata management: preserve seeds and workflows when reproducibility matters, but remove sensitive prompt or workflow metadata before public sharing.
A safer setup checklist
- Define the subject boundary first. Use clearly adult fictional subjects or consenting adults. Avoid ambiguous ages, real-person sexualization, and non-consensual scenarios.
- Choose hosted or local generation deliberately. Hosted tools are easier to start with but subject to provider retention, moderation, account, and watermark rules. Local tools offer more control but transfer responsibility to you.
- Read the current policy before generating. NSFW rules, regional availability, quotas, and model catalogs change quickly.
- Verify every model and LoRA. Check its license, intended base model, trigger terms, content restrictions, and provenance requirements.
- Keep private references private. Do not upload someone else’s photograph or intimate material without consent, and do not assume that a local workflow makes an unauthorized likeness acceptable.
- Preserve provenance where required. Grok requires its watermark to remain visible, and Civitai requires metadata for mature uploads. Local PNG metadata may also expose technical details you did not intend to publish.
- Review before sharing. Check the image for accidental likenesses, age ambiguity, identifying details, embedded metadata, and content that violates the destination platform’s rules.
Why Tensor.Art is not included
Tensor.Art was considered but does not fit a current list of services that allow NSFW images. Its terms require appropriate NSFW tagging and strongly discourage NSFW posting, while its later content-policy update says explicit sexual acts, nudity, and pornographic material are not permitted for public visibility or generation. The update also says that new publishing or generation of NSFW, 18+, and mature content is prohibited. Policies can change, but based on those rules it would be misleading to present Tensor.Art as an NSFW-friendly option.
Bottom line
For the least technical hosted route, start with Venice AI; it has the clearest explicit adult-content positioning. Grok Imagine is another hosted option, but its NSFW setting does not disable moderation and its watermark must remain visible. Civitai is best for discovering mature-content models and workflows, provided you follow its age, metadata, provenance, and real-person restrictions.
If privacy, model choice, and repeatable workflows matter more than convenience, use ComfyUI, InvokeAI, Fooocus, or Forge locally. None of those interfaces is automatically an NSFW generator: the installed model, workflow, configuration, license, local law, and your conduct determine what is appropriate and permitted.

No GPU is required for hosted services such as Venice AI or Grok Imagine. Local tools generally need a capable computer and graphics card, with requirements varying by model, resolution, and workflow.
The Bottom Line
Best overall hosted fit: Venice AI. Best moderated hosted alternative: Grok Imagine. Best local control: ComfyUI. For every option, use adult fictional subjects or consenting adults, verify current policies and model licenses, and do not confuse local control or an “uncensored” label with permission to create illegal or non-consensual material.
