For metal prints, Mpix lists glossy or matte finishes, white or metal bases, French-cleat or easel display options, sizes up to 40 by 60 inches, and typical lab processing of two to three business days. Printique is not automatically better than canvas, paper, or another metal service. The meaningful comparison is how the image will look in the room: consider glare, color appearance, viewing distance, weight, mounting method, and budget. A glossy rigid print can be a strong contemporary choice in a controlled-light room but a frustrating one opposite a window.

A file that looks sharp on a phone is not automatically large enough for a wall-sized print. Wall-art products commonly impose fixed aspect ratios. A horizontal photograph may be cropped to fit a square canvas; a portrait may lose important space when placed in a wide frame. - Include doors and windows in the measurement process. Follow the provider’s calculator and measurement instructions; Spoonflower specifically advises measuring each wall, including doors and windows, while excluding crown molding and baseboards.
- Use the tallest wall when heights vary. This helps prevent a short calculation from leaving insufficient material on a taller section.
