How to handle a legacy installer safely
- Check Corel’s official site or account page first to see what access is currently offered.
- Do not describe a third-party listing or mirror as an official Corel download.
- Do not run a legacy installer if you cannot establish its origin and integrity. The research provides no verified hash or signature for 3.5.64.
- Avoid repacked installers, activators, key generators, patched binaries, and tools advertised as unlocking paid features.

Corel’s help page, last reviewed September 2021, described desktop advantages as local file integration and access to system fonts. It said offline work was available only with Gravit Designer PRO, and that web fonts and libraries were unavailable offline. The page also described the desktop app as slower than the web app because of its Electron wrapper. These are dated documentation statements, not current performance tests or guarantees.
