Download the original-style iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro wallpapers in separate, clearly labeled collections. “4K” is commonly used by wallpaper sites to describe high-resolution files; neither phone has a 4K display. For the best result, download the original file rather than a gallery thumbnail.

AppleWalls identifies its Pro downloads as PNG files sourced from Apple software releases. The listed Pro files are approximately 1 MB to 2.5 MB, although sizes can vary by format and download version.

These designs are intended for the notch-based display layout used by the iPhone 14. The same color collection is associated with the iPhone 14 Plus, but the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 file may not be perfectly framed for the Plus’s larger screen.
iPhone 14 Pro wallpapers
The iPhone 14 Pro collection includes:

The iPhone 14 Pro introduced the Dynamic Island, so these wallpapers should be treated separately from the standard iPhone 14 designs. When applying one, keep important subjects away from the upper center and check the Lock Screen preview. The clock, widgets, and Dynamic Island can cover details near the top of the image.

Apple’s documented Dynamic Island measurements—230 points on iPhone 14 Pro and 250 points on iPhone 14 Pro Max—describe interface layout, not the pixel dimensions of a wallpaper canvas.
What “4K” means for iPhone 14 wallpapers
In this context, “4K” usually means that a wallpaper site offers a high-resolution source image. It does not mean that the iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Pro has a 3840 × 2160 display.

A native-resolution file is normally sufficient and may be smaller. A larger 4K or 5K version is useful if you plan to crop, zoom, or reuse the image on a monitor, tablet, or another phone. Larger does not automatically mean sharper after iOS scales the image to the display.

How to download the original file
- Open the appropriate iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Pro collection.
- Select the model and color you want.
- Open the original or full-resolution image, not the gallery preview.
- On an iPhone, touch and hold the image and choose Save to Photos, or use the browser’s equivalent command.
- On a computer, download the original file and transfer it with AirDrop, iCloud Photos, iCloud Drive, or another method that preserves the file.
Do not use a screenshot. If the result looks soft, check the saved file’s pixel dimensions and file size; a thumbnail or compressed copy is often the cause.

- Open Settings.
- Tap Wallpaper.
- Tap Add New Wallpaper, then choose Photos.
- Select the downloaded image.
- Adjust the crop, zoom, Lock Screen appearance, clock, and widgets.
- Tap Add.
- Choose Set as Wallpaper Pair for both screens, or choose Customize Home Screen to create a separate Home Screen.
You can also wake the iPhone, touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap the add button, and select the image from Photos. Apple may change labels between iOS 16, iOS 17, and later releases, but the Settings wallpaper route remains the most reliable starting point. See Apple’s current wallpaper guide.

Compatibility notes
- iPhone 14: use the standard collection for the closest notch-era composition.
- iPhone 14 Plus: the standard color variants apply, but expect additional cropping on the larger display.
- iPhone 14 Pro: use the Pro collection and check the upper-center safe area around the Dynamic Island.
- iPhone 14 Pro Max: Pro wallpapers can be used, but the larger display may require repositioning or zoom adjustment.
- Android or desktop: the image files can be used on other devices, but their portrait crop and interface-safe areas may not match.
If the wallpaper looks blurry or incorrectly cropped
- Download the original file again instead of the preview.
- Confirm its dimensions and compare it with the phone’s native resolution.
- Apply it through Settings → Wallpaper → Add New Wallpaper → Photos.
- Reduce zoom and reposition the image in the Lock Screen editor.
- Move faces, logos, or other important details away from the clock and Dynamic Island.
- Avoid sending the file through services that compress images.
If the image is still soft after these steps, the source may have been upscaled or compressed before download. Compare it with the original file in Photos.
