How to choose among the listed mower types
Match the deck and drive to the work
The roundup describes the 16-inch Greenworks as maneuverable for smaller yards and the 21-inch EGO as suitable for larger lawns. Popular Science likewise characterizes the Greenworks 60V 17-inch as a small-yard option. These are editorial descriptions, not comparative test findings or a complete lawn-size guide. A wider deck may cover more ground per pass, but the deal reports do not establish a tested ranking for cutting performance.
Push models avoid a self-propelled drive system; self-propelled models provide powered forward motion. The reports list both types but do not provide comparable measured weight, runtime, slope performance, or mowing speed. For a cordless mower, verify which battery platform it uses and whether the listing includes a battery and charger. The included 4.0Ah battery and charger are specified for the featured Greenworks 40V configuration, but the deal list does not state battery and charger contents for every other model.

Decide whether a robot mower fits your needs
The robot offers are a separate category from manually operated push and self-propelled mowers. The model-level prices available in Bob Vila’s October 1 list do not identify a mower discount of 48%. The largest reduction calculable from the listed price pairs is the Mammotion LUBA 3 AWD: $990 below the stated $3,099 reference price, or about 32.0%. That calculation uses Bob Vila’s figures and does not verify the headline’s 48% maximum. Treat the percentage claim as unconfirmed by the itemized offers here.
