Ramadan cards are an optional way to send a seasonal greeting, share a little context about the month, or include a note with a gift. You can choose a digital card for quick sharing or a pre-printed card for a physical gift; there is no evidence that everyone sends cards or that doing so is required.

- Select a design or template. Where the service offers them, choose the occasion, greeting phrase, font, color or orientation that fits your message.
- Enter the recipient’s name if you want to personalize the card, then preview the design before downloading.
- Download the available format and share it through the channel you prefer. The listed tools describe downloads; Shams specifically lists PNG and JPEG formats.

ICNA National Dawah’s “Gift for Neighbors” page offers this sample sentence: “Wishing you peace in your home, goodness in your days, and blessings in your pursuits.” Its accompanying example explains Ramadan and welcomes neighbors to visit. That is one organization’s sample, not required wording or a universal practice. Keep an invitation sincere and low-pressure, and do not presume that a neighbor fasts or celebrates.

Greeting cards and Ramadan awareness cards are different
A personal greeting card sends wishes to someone you know. Separately, the Saudi Press Agency reported on 2026-02-16 that the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance was adding 50 Ramadan-specific digital awareness cards to its electronic library website and app. Those are described as awareness materials, not necessarily personalized greetings.
Are Ramadan cards required or universally sent?
The available examples establish that government services and a community organization offer card options; they do not establish that card-sending is universal or required. They also do not settle whether sending a card is religiously recommended or subject to a particular ruling. For a definitive religious answer, consult a qualified religious authority.
