Find free fruit photos on Pexels, Unsplash, or Pixabay by searching for the fruit and the composition you need. Each service offers broad free-use permissions, including commercial use in many contexts, but its own license applies—and a photo license does not necessarily clear logos, people, or other protected work visible in the frame.

Where to find free fruit photos
Search the libraries for a fruit name such as apples, lemons, or strawberries, then refine by color, setting, or composition. Terms such as “free fruit photos” and “royalty-free images” can also help when searching. “Royalty-free” does not mean that every image is free of restrictions or third-party rights.
Pexels
Pexels says its photos and videos are free for personal and commercial use without attribution under the Pexels license. Its terms prohibit distributing content on a standalone basis and note that third-party rights may still apply.

Unsplash
Unsplash says its images are free for most commercial, personal, and editorial projects without permission or attribution under its license. Its help guidance cautions that a visible brand, recognizable person, or other copyrighted work may require additional permission, depending on how you plan to use the image.
Pixabay
Pixabay’s Content License Summary allows free use and adaptation without attribution, subject to prohibited uses. Pixabay says its full Content License is legally binding and prohibits standalone distribution.
Compare the licenses before choosing a photo

The services have separate terms: never assume one library’s license covers a photo from another. Attribution may be optional under the guidance above, but credit is courteous and does not replace any separate permission you need for material depicted in the image.
Check a fruit photo before using it
- Open the individual image page and confirm the license or license label that applies to that image.
- Match the license to your intended context. Pay particular attention to commercial use, merchandise, or a product where the image itself is the main value.
- Do not sell or redistribute the image file on its own where the service prohibits standalone distribution.
- Inspect the frame for visible brands or logos, identifiable people, and other protected works. Depending on your use, you may need separate permissions.
- Keep a record of the image page and the applicable terms at the time you use the photo.
What “free to use” does—and does not—mean
A library’s photo license grants permissions for the photograph under that service’s terms. It does not automatically resolve every right connected with what the photograph depicts. For example, a fruit image may include a recognizable product logo or artwork. Consider how and where the image will appear, and obtain any additional permissions the intended use requires.

Likewise, permission to use a photo in a project is not the same as permission to offer the image file by itself for sale or redistribution. Check the applicable license for that distinction before sharing the file.
