Luycho’s mirror cups make familiar pictures appear through a reflection: the saucer carries artwork distorted for the cup’s shape, and the cup’s reflective surface brings it into view. Move or rotate the cup and the image changes. It is an optical illusion made by two objects working together—not a digital animation inside the cup.
How does the mirror cup make the picture appear?
The design is a form of anamorphic reflection. An image is altered so that it looks recognizable when seen in a particular reflective surface or from a particular position. Luycho prints the adjusted artwork on the saucer; when the rounded mirror cup sits on it, the cup reflects the image into a more recognizable picture. The effect depends on the pairing of the printed saucer and reflective cup, rather than on an image printed normally on the cup itself. Luycho’s product catalogue describes the principle, and GobizKorea’s product listing also describes the reflective design.
Because the image is produced by reflection, changing the cup’s position changes what appears. Luycho’s product description and the trade listing both identify the cup’s reflective surface as part of the effect; the latter describes its MS-05G model as having a 24-sided reflective design. That model detail applies to the trade-listed product, not necessarily every cup in the range.

- If there is no 'Luycho' logotype inside the cup, it is not the original Luycho.
- Made in South Korea
- Even though there is a wavy pattern on the product, it is designed to allow water to escape from both sides during cleaning.
- The mirror cup is made with high-temperature soil(higher than 1230°C) and unlike plastic or glass, the surface of the product could be partially uneven like stain of glaze, pin hole, tiny scratch and fine lump. It is wrapped in a thin metal material, porcelain cups also have excellent insulation. It is not easily peeled off when compared to exsisting plating products.
- Caution*Keep out of the reach of small children. Not for use in dishwasher or microwave.Cleaning with a rough brush can damage the surface. There is a print smearing phenomenon partially in the printing process of a product. Clean the dirt with a soft microfiber fabric rather than washing saucer directly with water.Though there may be an ink smells on the printed side of the product, but the smell gradually fades.Water stain does not remain when water is completely removed after washing.
What appears in the video?
A Scroll report published October 5, 2019 showed examples from Luycho’s Instagram video, including pandas, butterflies and a bird that seemed to flap its wings as the cup moved. The catalogue describes the collection as an endangered-animal series. Those examples establish designs shown in that report, not every design Luycho has produced.
The apparent movement is a change in the reflection as the cup moves; the report does not describe a screen or electronic animation. The cup-and-saucer pairing turns a static printed pattern into a changing visual effect.

Who makes the cups, and where are they listed?
Luycho is the maker identified in the 2019 report and its product catalogue. Its store lists cups and saucers, but listings do not guarantee that a particular item is currently available. When the store was checked for the product information summarized here, some cup items were marked sold out while named saucers and prices appeared in the saucer category. Stock and prices can change.
A separate NOTAG listing for a grey-wolf cup describes a 240 ml ceramic short cup paired with a 170 mm saucer. These measurements apply to that listed variant, not to all Luycho sets. GobizKorea’s MS-05G listing is a trade listing and identifies the product’s origin as the Republic of Korea; it does not establish consumer stock or shipping availability in a particular country.

If searching a marketplace, “Luycho mirror cup and saucer set” is a useful phrase. The available product information does not establish that Amazon currently has an authentic set in stock. Before ordering, check that the listing includes both the intended cup and saucer, confirms the design and dimensions, ships to your location, and is actually available.
What care instructions are available?
The NOTAG grey-wolf listing advises against dishwasher and microwave use and cautions against cleaning with a rough brush. Treat this as guidance for that listing’s variant; the available information does not establish that every Luycho product has identical care requirements. Check the instructions supplied with the specific set before cleaning or heating it.

Scroll reported that Luycho representative Sang Ha Cho said the company received “100-200 DMs (direct messages) every hour” in a Facebook post during the video’s viral attention in 2019. That is an attributed, time-specific statement—not an independently audited measure or evidence of present-day demand. The cited product listings establish that the design has been offered, but they do not provide reliable sales totals or independent performance tests.
