Amazing Grace: What Color Is Your Attribute? is a visual novel and adventure game by Cabbage Soft. Its snowbound town is devoted to art, but a Christmas Eve disaster and a time loop turn its artistic academy setting into a mystery. The English PC localization is published by Shiravune; platform, language, and content details vary by edition.
What is Amazing Grace: What Color Is Your Attribute? about?
Shuu wakes without his memories in a snowy town of European-style buildings enclosed by a vast wall called the aurora. The residents take him in, and he attends St. Aria Academy, where art is central to the town’s culture. Painting, drawing, sculpture, film, and Renaissance art all figure in the setting.

On December 25, an unexplained fire nearly destroys the town. Yune, who loves the place deeply, rewinds time to December 2, the first day of Advent. The story follows the questions raised by the disaster and the repeating days: why the fire happened, why changed actions seem to lead toward the same future, and what the promised “Amazing Grace” means. Those mysteries are best left unspoiled in a basic introduction.
The publisher’s tagline is “A holy night with no dawn, my dear…”
#1 Best Overall
- Faith-first cooperative play: Work together to earn cornerstones, give offerings, and build a church; learn kindness, teamwork, and scripture while traveling through Bible cities
- Flexible family modes: Choose strategy or a quick one-hour game; perfect for 2–6 players ages 8+, keeping mixed-age groups engaged during game night, youth group, or Sunday School
- Durable components: Wooden church pieces, sturdy cards, and bright city markers withstand repeated play; Faith and City cards teach Bible facts, verses, and geography naturally so
- Screen-free connection: Spark conversations about faith, history, and service; great for game night, homeschool, Sunday School, youth ministry, church retreats, and gatherings too
- Easy to learn, deep to replay: Clear rules support setup, inclusive turns, cooperative strategy; builds Bible knowledge, empathy, and critical thinking for kids, teens, and adults
How does the art-school setting shape the game?
The academy and the town’s artistic priorities give the mystery a distinctive backdrop rather than serving as decoration alone. A review by Thomas Knight describes the curriculum as encompassing painting, drawing, sculpture, film, and Renaissance art. The same reviewer says that the time loops reveal clues and reframe earlier events, while noting that some mystery turns may ask players to suspend disbelief. These are the reviewer’s assessments, not universal measures of the game’s quality.
Which versions and platforms are documented?
Edition details matter: a date or language listing for one release does not automatically describe another.

Kotaku catalog entry. | The listed date belongs to that catalog entry; do not treat it as the English localization date or assume the platforms share the same language and content configuration. |
| Japanese PS4 physical edition | GameFAQs documents a Japanese PS4 box scan identified as a Body Pillow Limited Edition, dated November 30, 2018. GameFAQs box scan. | The scan establishes a documented physical edition, not current stock, listing details, or language compatibility. |
| Kagura Games Windows product | The storefront describes a Windows-only, DRM-free digital game that requires no internet connection, marks it for ages 18 and older, and warns of mature themes and graphic images. For a purchase, verify the exact platform, region, language and voice configuration, content edition, and physical or digital format on the listing you plan to use. A documented Japanese PS4 box does not establish that it contains the PC localization’s languages or content.
What should players know about routes and endings?
The route structure is not simply a choice of one romance path followed by a conventional ending. NookGaming’s walkthrough describes four possible romance endings, smaller character routes within the common progression, short non-romance endings, and branches that return players to route selection. It also reports that after-stories have unlock conditions. Its walkthrough explains branching choices, but checking it can reveal ending decisions and story developments.

How do the editions differ on mature content?
Content can depend on the particular PC storefront and edition. NookGaming’s guide, dated April 18, 2024 and updated February 1, 2025, reports that the Steam edition can use a free 18+ DLC patch distributed through Johren and points to JAST USA for an uncensored version. These are guide-reported, edition-specific details; confirm the current storefront and patch pages before relying on them. The Kagura Games Windows page separately flags mature themes and graphic images.
